Abstract:
The invention is an oven door construction and assembly in which the oven door construction and its part count are greatly reduced and simplified as is the method of assembly in the door. The door is assembled by placing interior door elements on an inner liner and using the hinges of the door to compressively mount the interior door elements to the liner to thereby eliminate a great number of fasteners typically used in this type of door construction.
Abstract:
A cooktop mounting assembly is set forth which utilizes a unitary ring member for supporting the periphery of a glass-ceramic panel as well as a method for assembling the same.
Abstract:
An outdoor cooking appliance, such as a “Barbeque Grill”, having a body and a lid. The lid is connected to the body by a hinge assembly and is movable between a first, closed position and a second, open position. As the lid is moved between the first and second positions, the hinge assembly counterbalances the weight of the lid so that the lid does not close of its own accord and may be positioned at one of plurality of positions intermediate between the closed and the open positions. The hinge assembly includes two arms that are pivotally interconnected. The hinge assembly preferably includes a linkage that interconnects the one of the two arms of the hinge assembly to the lid to permit the hinge to reside in a location that is relatively removed from and remote to the lid so that the hinge assembly. In a further embodiment, the hinge is adjustable.
Abstract:
A protective garment assembly; the protective garment assembly includes an upper garment, a lower garment and protective material attached thereto. Particularly the protective material is attached to shoulder, elbow and forearm areas of the upper garment; and tailbone, hip, thigh, knee and shin areas of the lower garment. The protective material is sewn into clothing and concealed. As designed, it affords adequate, but discrete protection in the event of a trip and fall, thus reducing risk of broken bones, surgeries, and fatalities.
Abstract:
The present invention relates inter alia to the treatment or prevention of influenza virus infection (including subtypes influenza A virus, influenza B virus, avian strain H5N1, A/H1N1, H3N2 and/or pandemic influenza) using compounds which inhibit the activity of p59-HCK and to a method of screening for a candidate drug substance intended to prevent or treat influenza virus infection in a subject, said method comprising identifying a test substance capable of inhibiting p59-HCK activity.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly for an oven or range that allows a door to be attached to the cooking chamber, locked in place and removed as desired. The hinge assembly includes a hanger mounted to the door and a locking arm mounted to the hanger. The oven or range chamber has at least one pin for receiving a channel on the hanger. When the locking arm is pivoted to an unlocked position with the hanger channel open, the hanger can receive or disengage the pin. When the locking arm is pivoted to an unlocked position with the hanger channel closed, the pin is trapped and the door is secured to the cooking chamber.
Abstract:
A system and a method for associating measurements from a wellbore with times and depths is provided. Tools located in a wellbore obtain the measurements and provide time data used to determine the times. The tools and a surface clock may be synchronized. The times may be used to associate the measurements with corresponding depths of the wellbore.

Abstract:
A burner support arrangement for a domestic stove having a platform with apertures for receiving two burner tubes, and raised rails extending between the apertures and a central igniter. Snap on covers form igniter tubes with the raised rails. A support clip clasps the burner tubes and supports the burner tubes above the platform.
