Abstract:
A training device including a spherical body made of any combination of foam, rubber, cork, twine, leather or any known material used in the construction of a baseball or game play ball affixed to a flight control apparatus by a coupling means. Said ball consisting of a second element including a skirt or flight apparatus resembling a shuttlecock designed for movement, distance and speed control. Said ball consisting of a third element including an inset coupling means. The device being used to fine tune and exercise the muscular-skeletal mechanics related to field sports. The device may be used as a practice and drill specific device or as a child's toy much like a badminton shuttlecock to be thrown, caught or hit.
Abstract:
A sanitizing apparatus is provided for automatically sanitizing writing utensils. The sanitizing apparatus transfers disinfectant solution to the writing utensil as the writing utensil is conveyed through a sanitizing chamber on a conveyor belt. The conveyor belt absorbs disinfectant solution when it passes through a basin containing the disinfectant solution and then transfers it to the writing utensil. Once sanitized, the writing utensil is discharged into a retrieval basin where it can be removed by a person wanting to use the writing utensil.

Abstract:
A personal vehicle transportation device to protect, secure, and transport a personal vehicle. The personal vehicle transportation device reduces the load placed on the towing vehicle and the personal vehicle transportation device is mechanically operable. The device includes a frame with a platform, a ramp and protective shell attached to opposite sides of the frame. The ramp and protective shell operate substantially simultaneously via a mechanized action. The protective shell includes inflatable bladders to secure the interior cargo.
Abstract:
An outdoor cooking appliance, such as a “Barbeque Grill”, having a body and a lid. The lid is connected to the body by a hinge assembly and is movable between a first, closed position and a second, open position. As the lid is moved between the first and second positions, the hinge assembly counterbalances the weight of the lid so that the lid does not close of its own accord and may be positioned at one of plurality of positions intermediate between the closed and the open positions. The hinge assembly includes two arms that are pivotally interconnected. The hinge assembly preferably includes a linkage that interconnects the one of the two arms of the hinge assembly to the lid to permit the hinge to reside in a location that is relatively removed from and remote to the lid so that the hinge assembly. In a further embodiment, the hinge is adjustable.
Abstract:
A protective garment assembly; the protective garment assembly includes an upper garment, a lower garment and protective material attached thereto. Particularly the protective material is attached to shoulder, elbow and forearm areas of the upper garment; and tailbone, hip, thigh, knee and shin areas of the lower garment. The protective material is sewn into clothing and concealed. As designed, it affords adequate, but discrete protection in the event of a trip and fall, thus reducing risk of broken bones, surgeries, and fatalities.
Abstract:
The present invention relates inter alia to the treatment or prevention of influenza virus infection (including subtypes influenza A virus, influenza B virus, avian strain H5N1, A/H1N1, H3N2 and/or pandemic influenza) using compounds which inhibit the activity of p59-HCK and to a method of screening for a candidate drug substance intended to prevent or treat influenza virus infection in a subject, said method comprising identifying a test substance capable of inhibiting p59-HCK activity.
Abstract:
A hinge assembly for an oven or range that allows a door to be attached to the cooking chamber, locked in place and removed as desired. The hinge assembly includes a hanger mounted to the door and a locking arm mounted to the hanger. The oven or range chamber has at least one pin for receiving a channel on the hanger. When the locking arm is pivoted to an unlocked position with the hanger channel open, the hanger can receive or disengage the pin. When the locking arm is pivoted to an unlocked position with the hanger channel closed, the pin is trapped and the door is secured to the cooking chamber.
Abstract:
A multilayered hemp face mask for filtering air particulate matter which has velcro loop and hook fabrics integrated with each of the fabric layers of the mask, the mask comprising: at least one DC fan, at least one copper rivet and a magnet, at least two fabric one way valves and a pair of ear muffins.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to universal face masks and more particularly to face masks made from hemp fibre. It further relates to face masks having multiple layers of fibres for filtration of the air pollutants and which can be made for use by the humans as well as designed to be worn by animals especially dogs and horses. The hemp face mask of the present invention comprises of at least three layers of hemp fabric with varying weaving techniques; at least one pair of drawstring cords for adjusting the hemp face mask on the wearer's face; at least one toggle lock with each pair of drawstrings; a small pouch positioned at the upper part of the hemp face mask; and a pair of hemp fabric padding.
