    摘要: An editing system for reproduction of coded voice signals including means for smoothly connecting signals in front and back of a connecting part to prevent a click sound caused by the sudden level change of the reproduced sound produced by the connecting part in editing of a PCM signal tape on which the PCM signal is recorded. With such means, the click sound produced at the connecting part can be eliminated either from a hand cutting edition or an automatic electronic edition and the reproduction of the PCM signal after the edition of the PCM signal can be precisely performed.

    摘要: Phase signals are sensed from the frame synchronizing signals resulting from a PCM magnetic multitrack record tape and applied to a selector connected to a phase locked oscillator. The oscillator is connected to a gate signal generator. The selector responds to each gate signal from the gate generator to pass only one of the phase signals through the same. The oscillator has its phase synchronized with that of the phase signal passed through the selector and provides the phase signals serving to control the speed of the record tape.

    摘要: A reproduced PCM signal in the form of continuous frames is subjected to a code check after the separation of its frame synchronizing signals and then stored in a memory. If more than two consecutive frames are determined to include code errors resulting from a spliced portion of the associated PCM magnetic tape than those frames are prevented from being written into the memory but the latter is continuously read out by skipping the lost data and reading other data stored in the memory. Also the amount of data stored in the memory is sensed and maintained at a predetermined constant magnitude by controlling the speed of travel of the tape.

    摘要: An optical disc recording apparatus which records data with a second rotation frequency on an optical disc containing a preliminarily written recording condition in relation to a first rotation frequency. The optical disc recording apparatus preliminarily possesses recording condition in relation to the first and second rotation frequencies. The optical disc recording apparatus initially reads the recording condition in relation to the first rotation frequency, and then, in accordance with the read-out recording condition in relation to the first rotation frequency and the stored recording condition in relation to the first and second rotation frequencies, the recording apparatus computes the recording condition applicable to the optical disc in relation to the second rotation frequency. Finally, the optical disc recording apparatus records data on the optical disc by applying the computed recording condition. In consequence, even when the recording condition in relation to the second rotation frequency is not yet known, the apparatus can securely execute the data recording operation.

    摘要: A magneto-optic recording medium has a cartridge provided with a magnetization direction indicating portion for indicating the direction of magnetization of a second magnetic layer. Alternatively, the direction of magnetization of the second magnetic layer is recorded in advance in the first magnetic layer. The direction of magnetization of the second magnetic layer indicated or recorded is detected and recognized. A magnetic field oriented in an opposite direction to the direction of magnetization detected is imparted to the magneto-optic recording medium. Alternatively, predetermined information is recorded in the first magnetic layer, the direction of magnetization of the second magnetic layer is detected on the basis of a signal reproducing that information, and the direction of a magnetic field to be applied to the magneto-optic recording medium is set on the basis of the direction of magnetization thus detected. In addition, the direction of the magnetic field to be applied to the magneto-optic recording medium is set and the output of a light beam is changed on the basis of the direction of the second magnetic layer detected.
