摘要: The present invention relates in one aspect to an audio amplification circuit comprising an input terminal for receipt of an input signal from a transducer. A signal processor is operatively coupled to the input terminal for receipt and processing of the input signal to generate a processed digital audio signal in accordance with a programmable configuration setting of the signal processor. A serial data transmission interface is configured for receipt of the processed digital audio signal and supply of a corresponding digital audio stream at an output terminal of the integrated audio amplification circuit. A serial data receipt interface is operatively coupled to an externally accessible configuration terminal of the integrated audio amplification circuit and a controller is configured to adjust one of the programmable configuration setting of the signal processor and a format of a digital audio stream in accordance with first configuration data received through the serial data receipt interface. The controller is in a first state is responsive to a logic state of the externally accessible configuration terminal to control the format of the digital audio stream or the programmable configuration setting. In a second state, the controller is configured for receipt and reading of the first configuration data through the externally accessible configuration terminal and the serial data receipt interface.

摘要: Provided is an audio system in which an audio signal to be heard can be automatically set to an appropriate volume or sound quality. The audio system is provided with: a mobile terminal device provided with a microphone unit that collects surrounding sound waves, and a transmission unit that, on the basis of the sound waves collected by the microphone unit, sets the volume or sound quality of an audio signal to be amplified by an audio device, and transmits the set audio signal volume or sound quality information to the audio device; and an audio device provided with an amplification unit that amplifies the audio signal, a control unit that adjusts the audio signal volume or sound quality by means of the amplifier, and a receiving unit that receives the audio signal volume or sound quality setting information from the mobile terminal device. The control unit controls the amplification unit so as to adjust the audio signal volume or sound quality on the basis of the audio signal volume or sound quality setting information received by the receiving unit.

摘要: A distributed automatic level control function is provided, in which information relating to a common automatic level control parameter is transmitted to each of a plurality of microphone devices, wherein the information transmitted to at least one microphone device is derived from an audio sample of at least one different microphone device. Each microphone device produces the common automatic level control parameter based on the information received by the microphone device and applies the common automatic level control parameter produced by the microphone device to a distributed automatic level controller of the microphone device.

摘要: Systems and methods presented herein may provide for processing audio with increased loudness and dynamics. A first clock frequency associated with a digital audio file may be increased to a second clock frequency, which speeds up the playback of the audio. The digital audio file may then be converted to analog at the higher second frequency, where it is further modified in the analog domain. The analog audio is then converted back into digital audio at the second clock frequency. The clock frequency is then decreased back to the first clock frequency for playback or storage of the processed (i.e., modified or manipulated) digital audio file. Alternatively, the entire process can take place in the digital domain.
