    摘要: A linear compressor, comprises a fixed member formed with a hermetically sealed compression chamber, a movable member axially movably received in the compression chamber of the fixed member, a plurality of resilient members each intervening between the fixed member and the movable member, driving means for driving the movable member, damping means for damping vibrations of the fixed member, the damping means including a retaining member fixedly connected to the fixed member and a weight member axially movably supported by the retaining member, first detecting means for detecting a displacement of the movable member, second detecting means for detecting a displacement of the weight member, and controlling means for controlling the driving means to have the movable member perform a reciprocally linear motion to ensure that the vibrations of the fixed member are damped by the damping means.

    摘要: The fluid drive unit includes a cylinder communicating with both end portions of a meandering passage formed in the heat transport device. In the cylinder, the piston is slidably arranged being capable of sliding in the axial direction. Fluid is charged in the spaces, which are provided on both sides of the piston, connected to the meandering passage. The solenoid coil, which is provided in the periphery of the side of the cylinder, periodically inverts the magnetic poles and reciprocates the piston in the cylinder. To drive the piston smoothly and reduce the amount of eccentricity, a pair of sliding members are provided at the end portions of the piston. When the fluid in the passage is vibrated by the movement of the piston, the apparent heat conductivity of the heat transport device is enhanced, and heat is quickly diffused from the heating body to the radiating portion.

    摘要: Means for a thermally conductive and electrically insulating material containing an AlN crystal mainly comprising AlN, and a production method thereof. In production, a molten aluminum layer is formed on an AlN substrate with at least its surface comprising AlN in an atmosphere of a non-oxidizing gas, and the molten aluminum layer is then heated in an atmosphere of N2 gas to form an AlN crystal which mainly comprises an AlN layer. The means are also a thermally conductive and electrically insulating material having an AlN crystal and an Al gradient layer, and a production method thereof. In production, a heating step of forming a molten aluminum layer on the AlN layer and heating it in an atmosphere of N2 gas is repeated at least twice or more. At this time, the amount of the N2 gas dissolved in the molten aluminum layer is decreased as the heating step is repeated.

In such a steam engine, an inner radius “r1” of the cooling portion is made to almost equal to a depth “δ1” of the thermal penetration, which is calculated by the following formula (1); δ 1 = 2 ⁢ a 1 ω ( 1 ) wherein, “a1” is a heat diffusivity of the working fluid at its low pressure, and “ω” is an angular frequency of the movement of the working fluid.

    摘要: A variable-damping-force shock absorber includes a piezoelectric actuator for producing a displacement, a hydraulic pressure chamber filled with a working oil and having a volume variable in response to the displacement produced by said piezoelectric actuator, and a plunger slidably disposed in a sleeve and reciprocally movable in response to a change in the volume of said hydraulic pressure chamber. The sleeve and said plunger define therebetween a gap communicating with said hydraulic pressure chamber. A supply passage for supplying a working oil from an external working oil source into said hydraulic pressure chamber extends through the gap. A leakage of the working oil from the hydraulic pressure chamber through the gap can automatically be compensated for by working oil supplied through the supply passage. Since the working oil leaks from and is supplied into the hydraulic pressure chamber through the gap, the leakage and supply of the working oil are kept in equilibrium.
