The present invention provides a method of production of grain-oriented electrical steel sheet comprising making a slab heating temperature 1280° C. or less, annealing hot rolled sheet by (a) a process of heating it to a predetermined temperature of 1000 to 1150° C. to cause recrystallization, then annealing by a temperature lower than that of 850 to 1100° C. or by (b) decarburizing in annealing the hot rolled sheet so that a difference in amounts of carbon of the steel sheet before and after annealing the hot rolled sheet becomes 0.002 to 0.02 mass % and performing the heating in the temperature elevation process of the decarburization annealing under conditions of a heating rate of 40° C. or more, preferably 75 to 125° C./s while the temperature of the steel sheet is in a range from 550° C. to 720° C. and utilizing induction heating for rapid heating in the temperature elevation process of decarburization annealing.

This invention is directed to improve magnetic properties and to stabilize the magnetic properties of a grain oriented electrical steel sheet used as a core of electric appliances. When producing a grain oriented electrical steel sheet by heating a slab containing C, Si, acid-soluble Al, N, not more than 0.014% of S+0.405 Se and 0.05 to 0.8% of Mn and the balance consisting of Fe and unavoidable impurities at a temperature of less than 1,280.degree. C., effecting hot rolling, applying cold rolling, decarbonization annealing and final finish annealing without annealing hot rolled sheet, the production method of the present invention controls the precipitation quantity of AlN in the hot rolled sheet, controls the mean grain size of the primary crystallization grains from completion of decarbonization annealing to the start of final finish annealing, applies nitriding treatment after hot rolling but before the start of secondary recrystallization at final finish annealing, controls the hot rolling condition in accordance with the quantities of acid-soluble Al and N of the slab, and further adds Sn.

The present invention is characterized in that a silicon containing acid-soluble Al, N and Sn is used as the starting material, the N and acid-soluble Al contents in the slab are adjusted to 0.0050 to 0.0100% and {(27/14).times.N (%)+0.0035} to {(27/14).times.N (%)+0.0100}%, respectively, the thickness of the hot-rolled sheet is adjusted so that the thickness reduction ratio at the one-stage cold-rolling is 85 to 92%, and the Nas AlN content in the hot-rolled steel sheet is controlled to 0.0005 to 0.0020%.

The speaker driver includes a reference voltage generator for generating a reference voltage, a transconductance amplifier for outputting a current corresponding to a differential voltage between a voltage of the battery and the reference voltage, an output control switch for ON/OFF-controlling the output current from the transconductance amplifier in accordance with the intermittent signal, and a DC amplifier for amplifying the ON/OFF-controlled output current as a driving current for the speaker. Since a speaker driving current is decreased as a power source voltage is dropped, an abnormal voltage drop during an alert generation period can be prevented, thereby prolonging the service life of a battery.

When the center of slide switch is in normal position, the tone signals are rectified by a diode and applied to a speaker in order to generate subscriber alert tones. When the center of slide switch is in vibration position, the speaker does not generate any audible tones while a rectifier-integrator section is turned on to rectify and integrate the tone signals. The rectified and integrated tone signals activate a mechanical vibrator to tactilely inform the subscriber that he is being paged. The decoder section has a common output terminal for both the audible alert and the tactile vibration alert.
