摘要： A locking mechanism for a front cover of a magnetic tape cassette which occupies only a small space is disclosed.The locking mechanism comprises a locking lever provided in at least one of the both ends of the cassette case, an elastic member always deflecting the locking lever toward an end plate of the front cover of the cassette case and an achoring member provided in one of end plates of the front cover so as to be engageable with an anchoring click of the locking lever, and the locking lever is slidably guided by a guiding mechanism formed in the cassette case.

摘要： A disk cartridge has a casing composed of upper and lower casings 1,2 which are adapted to rotatably receive therein a disk-like medium 4, a shutter 5 attached to the casing so as to open and shut openings for driving shaft insertion holes 11, 12 and magnetic head insertion holes 12, 22 formed in the upper and lower casings 1,2, a disk-like medium taking-out port 15 formed in the casing and a cover member 3 for opening and closing the disk-like medium taking-out port 15, wherein the cover member 3 is disposed in the casing at a position opposing the shutter 5; a disk-like medium placing portion is provided by forming tongue-like projections 36 in the cover member 3 to support the disk-like member 4 from its lower surface side; the cover member 3 is so arranged as to slide between the upper and lower casings 1,2, whereby the disk-like member 4 can be taken out by simply drawing the cover member 3 from the disk-like medium taking-out port 15 or the disk-like medium 4 can be placed by simply inserting it, and operability in exchanging the disk-like medium 4 can be done extremely well. The lower casing 2 is so constructed that a recessed face portion 26 for receiving the tongue-like projections 36 formed in the cover member 3 is formed in an inner face which opposes the disk-like medium 4, whereby the strength of the casing can be well maintained; easy taking-out and insertion of the disk-like medium are permissible, and good operability of exchanging the disk-like medium is obtainable.

摘要： A tape cassette housing capable of ensuring safety of a tape cassette in non-use of the tape cassette or during storage and transportation of the tape cassette. The tape cassette housing includes a housing body, a cover, a hinge for relatively openably connecting the housing body and cover to each other, and one or two pairs of projections provided on an inner surface of one of the housing body or cover. The projections are arranged in a manner to positionally correspond to pressing members of a tape cassette for holding reels of the tape cassette through the pressing members when the tape cassette housing is closed while receiving the tape cassette therein, to securely hold the pressing members, resulting in rendering the reels immovable in the tape cassette without any clattering. The housing may be provided with a locking mechanism for locking the housing body and cover together when the tape cassette housing is closed, to thereby further enhance safety of the tape cassette.

摘要： A tape cassette has a case containing a pair of reels for winding magnetic tape. An outer lid is pivotally mounted on the case to open and close the outside of the passage through which the magnetic tape is stretched along the front of the case. An inner lid is pivotally mounted on the inside of the outer lid to open and close the inside of the passage through which the magnetic tape is stretched. A slide member is formed on the inner lid. A guide groove is formed in the case to guide the slide member. The slide member is made of material different from the edges of the guide groove.

The magnetic tape cassette includes an openable front lid and a rear lid arranged so as to cover a front opening of the tape cassette casing and is so constructed that the front and rear lids are provided with facing portions, respectively, which are arranged so as to face each other along an arc defined by the facing portion of the rear lid when the rear lid is pivotally moved relatively to the front lid to cover the protecting space for the magnetic tape and each lid is formed into an arc or slanting plane, resulting in the lids being closely associated with each other to a degree sufficient to ensure satisfactory sealing of the cassette when the front lid is pivotally moved to cover the opening of the casing.
