An aqueous cutting liquid comprises a cationic water-soluble resin having an amine value of 20 to 200 mgKOH/g, and at least one rheology control agent selected from the group consisting of an inorganic bentonite, an organic bentonite and an aqueous silica sol, wherein the content of a nonvolatile matter of the rheology control agent is 0.1 to 30 percent by weight of the amount of the nonvolatile matter of the cationic water-soluble resin. An aqueous cutting agent comprises the aqueous cutting liquid, and an abrasive grain, wherein the content of the abrasive grain is 100 to 1000 percent by weight of the amount of the nonvolatile matter of the aqueous cutting liquid. A hard and brittle material is cut by a cutting device using the aqueous cutting agent. The present invention provides an aqueous cutting agent which is excellent in dispersion stability of the abrasive grain and viscosity stability during cutting/slicing operations, aqueous cutting liquid usable for the aqueous cutting agent, and a cutting/slicing method excellent in cutting performance, cleanability and the like of the work material on cutting/slicing hard and brittle material by using the cutting agent.

An image-forming process, which comprises steps of developing an electrostatic latent image on an inorganic photoreceptor with an electrostatic image developer containing 0.1 to 5.0% by weight, based on the toner particles, of silicon carbide fine powder of 0.2 to 1.5 μm in average primary particle size, 10 to 50 m2/g in specific surface area and 10 to 60% in amount of agglomerated particles, said silicon carbide fine powder being contained in an amount of 0.1 to 5.0% by weight, transferring the developed image to a transfer member, then removing residual toner particles on the photoreceptor by means of a cleaning blade.

At a time of disassembling and assembling stator windings of a dynamo-electric machine in which the stator windings fitted in slots formed to an inner periphery of a stator core disposed inside a stator frame are disassembled therefrom and conveyed outside the stator core successively and new stator windings are then conveyed into the stator core and assembled into the slots successively, a mounting apparatus is arranged between the slot and an inside conveyer for mounting the stator winding into the slot. The stator winding is disassembled from the slot into which the stator winding is inserted while receiving and holding the stator winding by a receiving member provided for the mounting apparatus. The stator winding is then moved to the inside conveyer from the mounting apparatus and then conveyed from the inside conveyer to an outside conveyer. The described disassembling steps in the described order are repeated until a predetermined number of stator windings have been disassembled from corresponding slots and conveyed outside the stator core. Next, the stator winding assembling steps are carried out by steps substantially reverse to those described above till a time when a predetermined number of slots are assembled with the new stator windings.

Calculation of a mount for setting an engine to a vehicle body is carried out by a computer. The computer calculates the position, inclination, spring constant, and damping coefficient of the mount by an optimizing calculation according to the simplex method and judges whether a solution meets a restriction through the optimizing calculation. Then, if violation of the restriction is 1% or less, the computer changes the solution to an optimum solution meeting the restriction and continues the calculation. Thereby, the calculation can be carried out efficiently.

An internetwork communication system provides communication from a first local area network to a second, ring-type, local area network via a bridge. The bridge receives a frame from the first local area network and transmits a dummy frame followed by a transfer frame to the second local area network. The transfer frame defines a node of the second local area network as a distant apparatus (receiver) and a node of the first local area network as a self apparatus (sender). The bridge later receives the dummy frame from the second local area network, after transmission of the dummy frame around the ring, and deletes the dummy frame and the transfer frame received following the dummy frame so that the communication in the second local area network does not circulate indefinitely around the ring. As an alternative to using a dummy frame, the bridge can receive the transfer frame, after circulation around the second local area network, and compare the distant apparatus of the received internetwork transfer frame with a stored distant apparatus address. When the received distant apparatus address matches the stored distant apparatus address, the bridge deletes the transfer frame from the second local area network.

A network synchronization system for synchronizing a master clock in a distributed communication system composed of a plurality of communication devices interconnected by one or more transmission lines, with a reference clock supplied from outside. A phase difference obtaining circuit for obtaining a phase difference between the reference clock and a master clock in the distributed communication system, is provided in a first communication device of the plurality of communication devices, and the phase difference is transmitted from the first communication device to a second communication device through the transmission line. The second communication device comprises a controlled oscillator circuit for receiving the phase difference, and outputting a master clock having a phase which is controlled according to the output of the phase difference obtaining circuit, so that the phase of the master clock is synchronized with the phase of the reference clock.
