    摘要: A fuel feed apparatus is accommodated in a fuel tank. Hooking projection parts have claws formed on a fuel discharge side of a fuel pump. The claws are fitted and hooked in an opening formed on a filter case, so that the fuel pump is protected from dropping out from the filter case. The entire circumference of the fuel discharge side of the fuel pump is inserted with force into a press-insertion part formed in the filter case. A fuel suction side of the fuel pump is not supported by other parts, so it is in free condition.

    摘要: An impeller is employed for a fuel pump and boosts a pressure of fuel by rotating the fuel in a pump passage formed in the fuel pump in a rotational direction of the impeller. The impeller includes a plurality of vane grooves formed adjacent to each other in the rotational direction of the impeller and a plurality of vanes formed adjacent to each other in the rotational direction. Each one of the plurality of vanes divides one of adjacent two of the plurality of vane grooves from the other. A difference between a maximal value and a minimum value of an adjacent vane angle is set in a range of 2.5° to 4°. A fuel pump includes a motor unit, the impeller, and a casing member. The impeller is rotated by rotation driving force of the motor unit. The casing member rotatably receives the impeller and defines the pump passage.

    摘要: A casing includes a C-shaped casing side pump groove along blades of an impeller. A casing cover also includes a casing cover side pump groove facing the casing side pump groove. The casing side pump groove and the casing cover side pump groove form a pump fluid passage. A gap is provided between an outer surface of the pump grooves and the impeller. Depth, and outer and inner diameters of a pump groove starts to gradually change from a fuel upstream side of a fuel outlet. The depth of the pump groove gradually decreases, the outer diameter of the pump groove gradually decreases to approach an outer diameter of the impeller, and the inner diameter of the pump groove gradually increases to approach the outer diameter of the impeller. The pump groove ends at a downstream side of the fuel outlet.

The electronic tag stores individual product information of the filter and wirelessly transmits the individual product information. A wireless receiver device is installed to a predetermined location of a vehicle, which is other than the filter cartridge and receives the individual product information transmitted from the electronic tag. A diagnostic device diagnoses whether the individual product information is received by the wireless receiver device or whether the filter cartridge installed in the vehicle has a desired filtering performance based on contents of the individual product information received by the wireless receiver device.

    摘要: A bearing for a motorized fuel pump is made of a Cu—Ni based sintered alloy, composed of: 21 to 35% by mass of Ni, 5 to 12% by mass of Sn, 3 to 7% by mass of C, 0.1 to 0.8% by mass of P, and the balance of Cu and inevitable impurities. A matrix of the bearing is formed with pores with a porosity of 8 to 18%, and the P component is predominantly included at the grain boundary, and free graphite is distributed along the insides of open pores that are open to the surface and extending into the bearing. In this bearing, a Sn rich alloy layer containing equal to or more than 50% by mass of Sn is formed on the insides of the open pores and near openings of the open pores.

At least the radially inner side of a back surface of each vane groove is radially outwardly inclined backwardly with respect to the rotative direction. The back surface has a radially inner end and a radially outer end, which are connected via a line segment. The line segment and a radius of the impeller define a backward inclining angle α therebetween. The back surface is inclined from a thickness center of the impeller toward each thickness-end of the impeller forwardly with respect to the rotative direction. The thickness-center and the thickness-end are connected via a line segment. The line segment and the thickness-center define a forward inclining angle β therebetween. The angle α, β satisfy the following relationships: 15°≦α≦30°; β≦60°; and 1≦β/α≦4.

    摘要: A fuel injection device includes a fuel supply pump, an injector, a filter, a circulation flow passage, an introduction valve, a circulation flow valve and a check valve. The injector supplies fuel discharged from the fuel supply pump to an engine, and the filter is arranged upstream of the fuel supply pump. The circulation flow passage introduces high-pressure fuel into the filter from a high-pressure flow passage provided between the fuel supply pump and the injector by opening of the introduction valve. The circulation flow valve is provided in the circulation flow passage and allows or interrupts inflow of fuel from the circulation flow passage into the filter depending on a fuel temperature. The check valve is provided upstream of the circulation flow valve to prevent backflow, and opens when a fuel pressure in the circulation flow passage is higher than a predetermined pressure.
