    摘要: A apparatus separates out and removes water present in liquid fuels. The fuel supplies an internal combustion engine by a fuel delivery pump (12). Water is separated out at a filter (5) having a collecting space (27) for collecting separated water and connected upstream of the suction side (11) of the fuel delivery pump (12). The pump suction action counteracts outflow of water from the collecting space (27). Depending on the amount of water collected, the pump suction action is negated, and an outlet valve at an outflow orifice (37) of the collecting space (27) is opened by a discharge (43, 53) producing a pressure gradient enabling the discharge of water from the collecting space (27) over a discharge period when the fuel delivery pump (12) is operating.

    摘要: A fuel filter assembly having a pressure sending unit for filtering and monitoring fuel and fuel pressure for diesel engines and the like comprising a filter head, a spin-on element and collection bowl. The filter head is fastened to an engine or other suitable structure by flange, bolts and supports the fuel filter assembly by monitoring fuel pressure by utilizing a pressure sending unit in fluid communication with an outlet port on the filter head. Preferably, filter head is a die cast head and includes therein typical inlet port, outlet port, and connected respectively thereto, inlet chamber and outlet chamber. Filter head is a generally circular structure having a flat annular mounting surface. The filter head may further comprises vent ports, vacuum switch ports or both, which are in fluid communication with outlet ports and return check valve ports that are in fluid communication with inlet ports. Still further, filter head is in fluid communication with a pressure sending unit, which is in electrical communication with a pressure monitoring device or similar warning system.

    摘要: A resinous lid member is constructed of a flange, a lower case, an upper case and a cover. The lower case is connected with the upper case, so that a cooling passage is formed. Fuel is discharged from a fuel pump into the cooling passage through a discharge pipe of a filter case, a flexible pipe and an inlet pipe. The cover covers the opening of the upper case, so that the cover forms a receiving chamber with the upper case to receive a circuit portion that generates heat. The receiving chamber has an air outlet port which is connected with an intake manifold of an engine. The engine is operated, and negative pressure is generated in the intake manifold, so that air flows from an air inlet port, which is opened to the air, to the air outlet port through the receiving chamber, so that the air flow cools the control circuit received in the receiving chamber.

    摘要: A liquid circuit for filtering a liquid, comprising a liquid storage vessel (10), a liquid pump (17), a consumer or user device (14), a filter element (23) and a controller (24). A heated liquid can be supplied at least partly to the filter element (23). The liquid circuit may be used in liquid systems in which a liquid, such as water, oil or fuel, is filtered and at least part of the liquid is returned to the storage vessel (10). The liquid is pumped in the liquid circuit from the storage vessel (10) by the pump (17) through lines (11, 13, 15, 16), filtered by filter element (23) and supplied to the consumer device (14). Excess liquid not required by the consumer device (14) is returned through liquid return line (15) to the controller (24) which directs the liquid either to the filter element (23) or the storage vessel (10), depending on the liquid temperature. The controller (24) and the filter element (23) are arranged in a common housing (18) having connectors for an unfiltered liquid inlet (19), a filtered liquid outlet (20), a liquid return (21) and a liquid outlet (22). The connectors (19, 20, 21) fixed to the housing enable rapid and simple assembly of the liquid circuit.
