    Abstract: An apparatus for a shoe which provides information to a remote computing device having a user application. The apparatus includes a first insert configured to be disposed in the shoe having a wireless transmitter, at least one sensor for sensing pressure that provides an antialiased image of pressure, and a controller in communication with the sensor and the transmitter which receives the pressure sensed by the sensor and transmits data associated with the pressure sensed through the transmitter to the device.     Abstract: A system comprises a cardiac signal sensing circuit and a processor circuit. The cardiac signal sensing circuit is configured to sense a cardiac signal segment using a set of electrodes connectable to the cardiac signal sensing circuit. The processor circuit is communicatively coupled to the cardiac signal sensing circuit and includes a peak detector circuit. The peak detector circuit is configured to identify, in the cardiac signal segment, a fiducial indicative of ventricular activation that is local to at least one electrode of the first set of electrodes. The fiducial includes a first large positive or negative peak greater than a specified percentage of a maximum peak of the first cardiac signal segment. The processor circuit is configured to provide an indication of local ventricular activation to at least one of a user or process.

    Abstract: A weldless connection system for U-beam particle separators is provided in which one end of each U-beam is provided with sides and a back that are separated from each other forming tabs. The tabs may be bent, or folded, about 90.degree. inward toward the channel formed by the U-beam. The back tab may be twice as long as the side tabs, and the extra half length of the tab can be folded about 180.degree. back at the back of the U-beam in a double thickness. Each tab has a hole therethrough. The double-length back tab has two holes; one hole is provided through each half. When the tabs are bent inward, the holes align. A bolt and washer placed through the aligned holes may be used to secure the tabs, and thus the U-beam, to a furnace roof structure. An alternate embodiment of the invention is provided in which only the sides of the U-beam form tabs which extend past the bottom of the U-beam.

    Abstract: The template for a router to notch a door latch slot is a jig that is adapted for use in routing slots in door slab such that the door slab can receive a latch.
