    摘要: An image stabilizer has a base block, an inner frame for holding a CCD, an outer frame, a pair of horizontal leaf springs, a pair of vertical leaf springs, voice coil motors (VCMs) and a flexible printed circuit (FPC). Upon a shake of a digital still camera due to hand-held shooting, the VCMs shift the inner or outer frame while bending the horizontal or vertical leaf springs so that the CCD is shifted to counteract the camera shake. The FPC connected to the CCD and the VCMs is routed from the inner frame, through the horizontal leaf spring, the outer frame and the vertical leaf spring, and pulled out above the base block. The FPC is glued to the horizontal and vertical leaf springs, and elastically bent together with the horizontal and vertical leaf springs.

    摘要: An image stabilizer has a base block, a CCD holder, an intermediate member, a rectangular frame-shaped first sheet metal member, a rectangular frame-shaped second sheet metal member, and voice coil motors (VCMs). The first sheet metal member has a pair of mutually-parallel horizontal leaf springs that is formed by bending upper and lower sides of the first sheet metal member. The second sheet metal member has a pair of mutually-parallel vertical leaf springs that is formed by bending right and left sides of the second sheet metal member. The horizontal leaf springs are flexible along a Y-axis, and the vertical leaf springs are flexible along an X-axis in a plane orthogonal to an optical axis. The VCMs shift a CCD through the CCD holder, while bending the horizontal or vertical leaf springs, to counteract a camera shake in an X-axis or Y-axis direction.

    摘要: An optical fixing device is provided with a light emitting element array that consists of a plural number of LEDs connected in a matrix. The LEDs are connected in serial to each other in each column, and the LED columns are connected in parallel to each other. Transistors are connected in serial to the LED columns respectively, so as to turn the associated LED columns ON or OFF. A capacitor is connected in parallel to the LED columns. After the capacitor is charged by turning a switch ON, selected one of the LED columns is turned ON, to discharge the capacitor through the selected LED column. Based on a voltage across the capacitor at the completion of discharging, a forward voltage VFL across the selected LED column is measured.

    摘要: In a thermal printer, resistance values of individual heating elements of a thermal head are measured to check if there is any heating element that breaks down. If a broken heating element RN is determined, heat energy values YEn, YEn−1, YEn+1, YEn−2 and YEn+2 necessary for pixels to be printed by the broken heating element RN and neighboring heating elements RN−1, RN+1, RN−2 and RN+2 are calculated. The heat energy values YEn−1, YEn+1, YEn−2 and YEn+2 are corrected by adding predetermined percentages of the heat energy value YEn of the broken heating element RN to these values. Based on the corrected heat energy values YEn−1, YEn+1, YEn−2 and YEn+2, image data for the neighboring heating elements RN−1, RN+1, RN−2 and RN+2 are corrected. The heat energy generated from the neighboring heating elements increase so much as to print also the pixels assigned to the broken heating element, preventing white streaks.
