摘要: A flat tube display apparatus wherein a row of many electron beam generators is arranged transversely in a thin flat vacuum tube body to generate a number of beams in parallel with each other which travel in parallel with an image screen and to deflect the beams toward the image screen at a predetermined position. The beams are guided without being widely diverged due to the provision of a number of side walls arranged in parallel with each other to confine beams and due to the provision of alternately strong and weak magnetic fields along the side walls. Image brightness can be further increased by a frit-glass-laminated structure of a multiplier or microchannel.

摘要: An image display apparatus which controls electron beams emitted from an electron source by electrodes having an arrangement of electron beam passage apertures and displays an image by irradiating the electron beams onto phosphors on a screen. The image display apparatus includes a means which changes at least a position of the electron beam passage aperture of a second electrode of the electrodes corresponding to the electron beam passage aperture of a first electrode of the electrodes in accordance with the position on the screen and controls the potential difference between the two electrodes, thereby making it possible to control the landing position of the electron beams on the screen.

摘要: A method of driving an image display device is disclosed in which electron beams from line cathodes are impinged upon a display screen through beam modulating and deflecting electrodes to display an image. Each beam roughly lands onto a predetermined position on the screen by a stepped deflection voltage waveform to form a spot on the screen while the beam is deflected around the predetermined position by an unstepped deflection voltage waveform. The timing of application or the pulse width of a driving pulse signal for the beam modulating electrode is controlled in a form temporally related to the driving of the beam deflecting electrode to control the landing position or diameter of the spot on the screen. In the case where the driving pulse signal is a signal the pulse width of which is modulated by a video signal, the pulse width is changed in accordance with the level of the video signal and equally in positive and negative directions around the instant of time when a signal pulse having the minimum width necessary for representation as an image is to be generated.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device for carrying out a 3D display by a frame sequential method as well as a 2D display includes: a digital γ correction section for changing an input gray level to a gamma characteristic corresponding to either the 2D display or the 3D display in accordance with a preset analog gamma value; an overdrive circuit for finding, in accordance with a parameter set according to the gamma characteristic thus corrected by the digital γ correction section, an overdrive value corresponding to the input gray level; and an analog γ correction section for finding a voltage value to be applied to liquid crystal by correcting the overdrive value found by the overdrive circuit. In the digital γ correction section, an analog gamma value for the 3D display is set to be larger than an analog gamma value for the 2D display.

摘要: Disclosed is an angular rate detection apparatus which provides a stable output with high detection accuracy regardless of a fluctuation of a reference voltage accompanying a fluctuation of a power supply voltage. The angular rate detection apparatus includes at least a gyro sensor detection circuit connected to an oscillator, an A/D converter, a digital calculation device, and a reference voltage generation circuit. The gyro sensor detection circuit drives the oscillator, and detects an angular rate acting on the oscillator and outputs an analog detection signal. The A/D converter converts the output analog detection signal into a digital signal. The digital calculation device carries out a calculation based on the converted digital signal. The reference voltage generation circuit supplies a common reference voltage generation circuit supplies a common reference voltage to the gyro sensor detection circuit and the A/D converter.

摘要: A dispensing container according to the invention includes a container body having a rod-like shape, The dispensing container is therefore compact and the user can hold the dispensing container as if the user holds a pen and use the thumb, the index finger, and any other finger to apply pressure to the dispensing container so as to dispense a drug solution. A heat insulating grip is attached to the outer circumferential surface of the container body, whereby heat originating from the body temperature of a finger of the user will not be transferred to the drug solution or volatilize it. No excessive dispensing that is not intended by the user will therefore occur. Since the container body is thin and hence unlikely crashed, the user can make adjustment of the pressure applied by the thumb, the index finger, and any other finger to readily extract a single droplet.
