摘要： An oral care composition including a hydrophilic, aliphatic, polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane, a glycol polymer, and a poly(N-vinyl lactam). These components form a tacky film having a thickness of about 1 mils to about 50 mils. A whitening agent, such as a peroxide, can be absorbed into the tacky film, and adapted to desorb from the tacky film to whiten teeth to which the film is joined. A method is also provided in which the components are extruded through a twin screw extruder and output to a die to produce the film. The whitening agent can be deposited on the film and absorbed by the film to form a relatively stable oral care composition including the whitening agent.

The flavor element may be a dissolvable, edible, flavored film. A method for forming the oral care strip includes the steps of a) applying an oral care substance to a first side of a substrate and b) attaching a flavor element to a second side of the substrate. The second side of the substrate may include a wax layer to which the flavor element is attached.

摘要： An orally administered composition for relieving or eliminating snoring is described. The composition generally has four mechanisms of action for combating snoring. The composition includes a tissue-firming or astringent agent to firm up throat tissue. The composition also includes a soothing agent to soothe irritated or inflamed tissues. Also included in the composition is a lubricant to moisten dry or dehydrated tissues, and a mucous-thinning or expectorant agent to help remove any obstructive matter near the throat tissues.

摘要： A dental flosser including a plastic handle having proximal and distal ends, a flosser head at the distal end of the handle, and two spaced apart arms extending from the flosser head. First and second strands of dental floss extend transversely between the spaced apart arms. The first and second strands may different material characteristics from each other, such as different coefficients of friction. The first and second strands may be arranged on the arms to provide enhanced cleaning. For instance, a portion of one of the strands may be offset from the other strand along the width of the flosser arms.

The active agent can be a variety of compositions, such as dental whitening or bleaching agents, desensitizing agents, antimicrobials, anti-plaque agents, remineralizing agents, anti-tartar agents, mouth fresheners, and anesthetics. Optionally, a processing aid can be added to the composition to streamline manufacture of the gel. The composition can be formed as a bead in a dental tray so that when a user applies the dental tray to their dental arch, the bead readily spreads over the surfaces of the teeth without the user having to supply significant force to achieve such spreading.
