A cam device includes an armlike cam follower for moving a lift unit upward and downward, and a plate cam having a cam contour face in contact with the cam follower. The cam is formed in a side surface thereof with a recessed portion having an inwardly facing periphery which provides a guide face extending along the cam contour face. A movable roller is in bearing contact with the guide face. The cam follower and the movable roller are biased toward each other by and elastic member.
Abstract:
A device for reducing torque variations for use in a drive apparatus which has a drive shaft for causing a lift unit to perform one cycle of up-and-down movement for each of at least two lift units to perform one cycle of up-and-down movement at a specified interval by one turn of rotation of the drive shaft. The device comprises elastic means and transmission means for transmitting an elastic force of the elastic means to the drive shaft as a rotational torque.
Abstract:
A package container tube processing apparatus by which a vertical tube filled with contents is divided into lengths each corresponding to one container to form intermediate containers. The apparatus comprises a vertical rod movable upward and downward and reversibly rotatable, a movable frame attached to the vertical rod and movable therewith upward and downward while permitting the reversible rotation of the vertical rod, a pair of pressure arms supported at their lower portions by the movable frame so as to be pivotally movable about a pair of horizontal axes parallel to each other, a pair of seal bars fixed to the upper portions of the pressure arms respectively and opposed to each other, and conversion means for converting the forward-reverse rotation of the vertical rod to a pivotal motion of the two pressure arms to move the two seal bars toward or away from each other.
Abstract:
A packaging machine comprises a device for forming incomplete containers by forming a web into a tube, filling contents into the tube, thereafter transporting the tube by a length corresponding to one container at a time, and sealing and cutting the tube transversely thereof every time the tube is transported; a container conveyor for receiving the incomplete containers from the device and transporting the containers; and a complete container forming device for making each incomplete container into a complete rectangular parallelepipedal container during transport on the conveyor. A drive device for use in the machine comprises a main shaft coupled to the incomplete container forming device so as to transmit power thereto, and a transmission shaft having one end connected to the main shaft by a main clutch and the other end coupled to a motor by a secondary clutch, the transmission shaft being coupled to the conveyor so as to transmit power.
Abstract:
A packaging machine comprising an incomplete container forming device for forming a web into a tube, filling contents into the tube, thereafter transporting the tube by a length corresponding to one container at a time, sealing and cutting the tube transversely of the tube every time the tube is transported to obtain flat tubular incomplete containers, and discharging the containers as arranged in a row; a pair of container conveyors arranged at a lower level than the discharging position of the device, horizontally spaced from the discharging position by a specified distance and having respective transport paths spaced from each other by a predetermined distance; a complete container forming device for making the incomplete containers into complete rectangular parallelepipedal containers during transport on the conveyors; and a transfer device for receiving the row of incomplete containers as discharged from the incomplete container forming device, dividing the row into two rows and delivering the two rows alternately to the respective container conveyors.
