    摘要: A brush holder assembly (10) adapted for selective cooperation with a plurality of motor housings (12,14) and for holding a brush (90) in contact with a rotatable commutator (42) is disclosed. The brush holder assembly (10) comprises an elongated brush (90), an elongated body (50) and an elongated insert (52). The brush (90) has a generally non-circular cross-section and a semi-cylindrical free end (93) shaped to complementarily engage the commutator (42). The elongated body (50) has a non-circular inner bore (60) and a mounting arm (66) for selectively mounting the body (50) to a plurality of motor housings (12,14) in at least two different angular orientations relative to the axis of the bore (60). The elongated insert (52) is adapted to be selectively received and held within the bore (60) of the body (50) in a plurality of different angular orientations relative to the axis of the bore (50). The insert (52) defines a non-circular cavity for receiving the brush (90) in a predetermined angular orientation with respect to the cavity. When the body (50) is mounted to the motor housing (12,14), the insert (52) may be angularly aligned within the bore (60) of the body (50) such that the brush (90) can only be placed within the insert (52) with the semi-cylindrical free end (93) of the brush (90) in coaxial alignment with the commutator (42).

    摘要: A modular tool assembly including a tool base configured to releasably secure a modular tool arrangement in a fixed relationship relative to a mounting surface. The tool base includes an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion having a mounting seal extending therefrom. A vacuum generating mechanism is configured to remove air from the vacuum pocket through an aperture in the lower housing portion. A modular tool attachment releasably engages a portion of the tool base to secure the modular tool attachment to the tool base.     摘要: A reduced friction coupling which interconnects a lower, supporting member and an upper, supported member of a concrete forming apparatus to reduce the force required to lower the height of the forming apparatus under load on the members by a formed concrete structure. Two or more polymeric washers are received about the supporting member between a threaded nut which is used for adjusting the height of the forming apparatus and the supported member. The polymeric washers reduce by a surprising amount the force required to retract the nut under load. Washers of molybdenum disulphide filled nylon can support up to 10,000 pounds per square inch and reduce the force required to retract the nut by at least sixty percent under such a load compared to the force required if a single steel washer is used.

    摘要: A corner form assembly for forming inside corners of concrete structures. A pair of double bias form components, each of which has an acute angle between a side rail and the face sheet are arranged with the side rails in contact engagement to form a form assembly with an inside angle equal to twice the acute angle of the side rails. A reverse bias coupler is used to join the double bias form components with conventional wall form panels having 90° end rails. The corner assembly acts to release the forces imposed on the components by the poured concrete upon disassembly and so allows the components to be readily stripped from the poured wall.

    摘要: A a metal shore post of a concrete forming assembly is disclosed. An outer telescoping tube is provided that has a main section with a first inside diameter and top portion with a section having a second inside diameter reduced relative to the first inside diameter of the outer tube. An inner telescoping tube is inserted for telescopic movement inside the outer tube. After assembly, a pair of pistons are inserted through access holes in the outer tube to provide a crushing force to the inner tube deforming it to create a region of increased diameter that is greater than that of the reduced diameter section but not so large as to prevent telescopic movement of the inner tube inside the outer tube. The increased dimension region thereby prevents accidental separation of the inner tube from the assembly, thereby improving safety and efficiency. Openings are provided in the inner tube in the region being crushed in order to control the region of deformation.
