摘要: An arc-tracking welding method according to the present invention is an arc-tracking welding method in a consumable-electrode-type welding apparatus provided with a weaving function for swinging a torch in the welding direction, wherein a welding current and a welding voltage to be supplied to a consumable electrode include high-frequency components. A change in resistance value resulting from a fluctuation in electrode height is detected from the welding current and the welding voltage during welding. Then, a shift of a weld line is detected from information about the detected resistance value and both end positions of a weaving amplitude.

摘要: A welding parameter derivation device of a welding machine having a torch and a weaving mechanism derives welding parameters in accordance with the cross-sectional shape of a weld portion of a new base metal. A database stores welding parameter data, and a welding parameter computation unit computes welding parameters for the shape of a groove or joint of a new base metal. Based on past welding parameter data for a shape similar to that of a groove or joint of a new base metal, and input data pertaining to the specifications of the welding machine, the computation unit derives welding parameter data for the new base metal, taking into account a parameter of the cross-sectional area of the weld portion formed on the new base metal, the bead height of the weld portion, the quantity of heat inputted to the new base metal, and a torch weaving parameter.

摘要: A welding and processing condition setting system includes an input device, a display device, a control device, and a database. The input device receives a retrieving operation of at least processing condition information input by an operator. The control device is configured to extract a processing condition parameter of the processing condition information from at least one of master condition data and user condition data according to the retrieving operation, extract a welding condition parameter of welding condition information corresponding to the extracted processing condition parameter from at least one of the master condition data and the user condition data, and calculate an evaluation item which is a result obtained by evaluating at least one of a welding amount and a working efficiency in the extracted welding condition parameters. The display device displays at least one parameter of the welding condition parameters, and the evaluation item.

摘要: A controller includes a communication controller having a communication area and a normal control controller having a normal control area, and is provided in a vehicle. The controller stores an update program, which is transferred via an external communication mechanism from an external server to a vehicle, in the communication controller. If it is determined, based on manipulation of a key switch to a stop position, that updating can be performed, the controller transfers the update program stored in the communication controller to the normal control controller and performs rewriting. A program is thereby reliably rewritten within a short period of time to improve work efficiency.
