    摘要： There is provided an organic electroluminescent display apparatus including a plurality of pixels constituting a display portion, each of the pixels includes sub-pixels of at least four colors, each of which includes an organic electroluminescent device having a pair of the electrodes and an organic compound layer formed between the pair of the electrodes, and the sub-pixels of at least four colors constitute a convex polygon containing a white color on CIE chromaticity coordinates, and includes the sub-pixels of two colors to be complementary colors with the white color interposed therebetween. In this case, the organic compound layers of the sub-pixels of two colors each contain a phosphorescent organic compound. The organic electroluminescent display apparatus can enlarge the color gamut and simultaneously can reduce the power consumption.

    摘要： There is provided a display device which quenches ambient light by using only an optical interference effect without additionally using an optical filter such as a color filter, and can provide good visibility out of doors in the daylight. The display device includes a plurality of organic EL elements each having a light extraction electrode, a reflective electrode, and a plurality of organic compound layers disposed between the electrodes, wherein the plurality of organic EL elements include at least organic EL elements which emit a red light, a green light, and a blue light, respectively; a layer comprised of a material having anomalous dispersion is disposed at a location which is on a light extraction side with respect to the reflective electrode in each of the plurality of organic EL elements; and an ambient light reflectance of the display device shows a minimal in a region of 535 nm or more and 575 nm or less.

    摘要： An organic light-emitting element includes a first electrode, a second electrode, and at least one organic compound layer disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The organic compound layer includes a light-emitting layer containing a light-emitting material and being configured to emit light toward the first electrode and the second electrode. The light emitted toward the first electrode is reflected from a reflection plane located at the first electrode to cause interference with the light emitted toward the second electrode. The interference provides an interference intensity distribution having a maximum peak at a wavelength λ1. The light-emitting material of the light-emitting layer exhibits a photoluminescence spectrum having a maximum peak at a wavelength λ2. The organic light-emitting element produces an electroluminescence spectrum having a maximum peak at a wavelength λ3. These wavelengths satisfy the relationships: λ2≠λ3 and |λ2−λ3|

    摘要： In a light emitting display apparatus, excellent color reproducibility and high luminance for an emission color having a low color purity and low emission efficiency are realized. An electroluminescent layer whose color purity and emission efficiency are to be improved is stacked as a first layer on a substrate, and is interposed between a reflective electrode layer and a semi-reflective electrode, and then light extracted from the electroluminescent layer is intensified by interference between a reflective surface in the reflective electrode layer and a reflective surface in the semi-reflective electrode.
