摘要： The present invention provides a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet comprises (1) an adhesive sheet portion 1 comprising a support 2, a dye receptor layer 3 disposed on a front surface of the support and an adhesive layer 4 disposed on a back surface of the support and (2) a release sheet 5 temporarily bonded to the adhesive layer so as to be peelable therefrom. The support 2 is a layered product comprising a foamed resin film layer 6 disposed on a dye receptor layer side thereof and a non-foamed resin film layer 7 disposed on an adhesive layer side thereof. In the adhesive sheet portion 1, it is preferable to form a cut line 9 which is provided with at least one uncut portion.

摘要： A thermal transfer image-receiving sheet for a sticker comprises a sticker portion and a release sheet portion, the sticker portion being comprising a substrate, a receptor layer disposed on a front surface side of the substrate and an adhesive layer disposed on a back surface side of the substrate, the release sheet portion being comprising a support sheet and a grip layer disposed on a back surface side of the support sheet, and an adhesive area of a back surface of the sticker portion being covered with the release sheet in a peelable adhesion with a front surface of the release sheet portion facing to the back surface of the sticker portion, wherein said grip layer is a non-oriented synthetic resin layer having a softening point of 110.degree. C. or more. The grip layer is well bitten by spikes of a grip roller of a printer to prevent misregistering. The grip layer is preferably formed by extrusion lamination.

摘要： In order to enable stamping or writing with an aqueous ink on a print with a colorant image or the like formed thereon and, at the same time, to impart fastness properties, such as weather resistance, chemical resistance, and solvent resistance to the print, there are provided a thermal transfer film for a protective layer, which, upon transfer on a print, can form a protective layer having a water-absorptive property and the above fastness, and a print with a protective layer transferred from the above transfer film.The thermal transfer film for a protective layer basically comprises a heat-resistant substrate film and a thermally transferable protective layer laminated thereto. The thermally transferable protective layer is thermally separated from the substrate and laminated on a print with a colorant image.

摘要： A thermal transfer sheet is provided which can thermally transfer an excellent image capable of maintaining various types of durability, various types of fastness, particularly weather resistance and the like for a long period of time. The thermal transfer sheet comprises: a substrate film; a sublimable black dye layer and a transferable protective layer provided on the substrate film in a face serial manner, the sublimable black dye layer comprising a mixture of particular yellow, magenta, and cyan dyes. A thermal transfer method using such a thermal transfer sheet is also disclosed.
