摘要: Provided are a composition which has good elastomer solubility, is thus capable of increasing a concentration of solid contents, and is capable of forming a film having excellent drying properties, surface morphology, and heat resistance, a process for producing a sheet, a sheet, a laminate, and a laminate with a device wafer. This composition includes an elastomer having a 5% thermal mass reduction temperature of 375° C. or higher when heated at an elevation rate of 20° C./min from 25° C., a solvent represented by the following General Formula (1) and having a boiling point of 160° C. or higher, and a solvent having a boiling point of lower than 120° C. In General Formula (1), R1 to R6 each independently represent a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group.

摘要: A tackifying resin includes a farnesene-based polymer having monomeric units derived from a farnesene monomer and one or more optional comonomers selected from the group consisting of dienes, branched mono-olefins, and vinyl aromatics and has a softening point greater than or equal to 80 degrees Celsius. A method of making the farnesene-based polymer includes combining a farnesene monomer and a solvent and optionally adding one or more comonomers selected from the group consisting of dienes, branched mono-olefins, and vinyl aromatics, to provide a monomer feed, and polymerizing the monomer feed by combining the monomer feed with a Friedel-Crafts catalyst in a vessel. The tackifying resin may be combined with an elastomer to form a hot melt adhesive composition.

The method and system a) treat a surface of an element to be bonded to provide an adherent structure including one or more rubber compounds on the surface; b) place a polymerizable adhesive composition, including at least one photoinitiator and at least one energy converting material, in contact with the adherent structure and two or more components to be bonded to form an assembly, c) irradiated the assembly with radiation at a first wavelength, capable of conversion by the at least one energy converting material, to a second wavelength capable of activating the at least one photoinitiator to produce from the polymerizable adhesive composition a cured adhesive composition; and d) adhesively join the two or more components by way of the adherent structure and the cured adhesive composition.

摘要: A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet including, on a substrate or a release material, a resin layer including a resin part (X) containing a resin as a main component, and a particle part (Y) consisting of fine particles and having a surface (α) having pressure sensitive adhesiveness and one or more concave portions. When the surface (α) of the resin layer is adhered to a smooth surface of a light transmissive adherend to give a laminate, the areal ratio (S1) of the attached area adhered to the smooth surface to the surface (α) is 10 to 95% at 23° C. and 50% RH, and the area increase rate {[(S2−S1)/S1]×100} is −10 to 20% after heating of the smooth surface by statically leaving the laminate at 80° C. for 30 minutes.

摘要: A method for assembling cable wrapping tapes. From an adhesive tape parent roll, strip-like adhesive tapes (11), each having two cut edges (12a) on the sides, are produced from a textile material which has an adhesive coating (12) on one side, by cutting in the drawing direction of the parent roll. The cutting is performed using an ultrasound-excited cutting tool (1) and wherein the cutting is performed using a cooled cutting tool (1). An adhesive tape (11), having a strip-like textile carrier material (13) and an adhesive coating (12) applied to one side and two cut edges (12a) on the sides. The cut edges (12a) are created by ultrasound cutting, and the textile carrier material (13) of the carrier is fused to its cut edges (12a). No adhesive coating (12) exists on the cut edges (12a); which are free of lint and threads.
