An in-pharmacy device 62 acquires the dispensing reservation information by monitoring the data server 91 regularly and detects whether a dispensing request has been received. If the dispensing request has been received, the in-pharmacy device 62 acquires the information of the prescription from the data server 91. As a result, dispensing can be started in the pharmacy before the patient comes. The present invention is applicable to an information processing system.
