    摘要: An improved tire vulcanizing press of the type including an upper frame, a lower frame and side frames by way of which said upper frame and said lower frame are integrally connected to one another, wherein a lower die half is fixedly mounted on the lower frame and an upper die half is fixedly secured to a raising and lowering table adapted to be raised up or lowered by means of a raising and lowering means fixedly attached to the upper frame in such a manner that the upper die half is displaced away from or toward the lower die half is disclosed, wherein the improvement consists in that a working cylinder, a spacer and a distance plate are arranged between the upper frame and the upper die half, said distance plate being adapted to move from the operative position in the vulcanizing press to the inoperative one located outward of the latter and vice versa, whereby vulcanizing operation is safely carried out with the minimized die opening in the event of malfunction caused with respect to the working cylinder.

    摘要: A bladder control mechanism of a tire vulcanizer includes an actuating mechanism for moving a bladder holder and a bladder gripping bowl of an upper bladder clamp relative to one another. A spring of the control mechanism imparts a gripping force to the bladder holder. Therefore, no re-tightening is required while a bladder is in use. When the bladder is to be changed, the actuating mechanism is actuated to forcibly separate the bladder holder from the bladder gripping bowl in opposition to the spring. As a result, the bladder holder frees the edge portion of the bladder. Further, due to a bayonet connection, the bladder can be readily changed in a short time by turning and removing the bladder holder.

    摘要: An improved forming apparatus for a breaker layer to be used in a radial tire is described herein. The apparatus essentially comprises a drum device (D), a press contact device (A), first and second breaker material folding-wrapping devices (B) and (C), means for rotating said drum device (D), and means for moving said respective devices (A), (B) and (C) in the axial direction relative to said drum device (D) and for fixing them at predetermined positions. The drum device (D) includes a plurality of segments which have a width of their outer circumferential surfaces approximately equal to the width of the breaker layer to be formed, which can form a substantially cylindrical press contact surface with their outer circumferential surfaces, and which can expand and contract the diameter of said cylindrical contact surface. The press contact device (A) also includes a plurality of segments which can be displaced radially inwards and outwards, and which form a substantially cylindrical press contact surface with their inner circumferential surface concentrically with the cylindrical press contact surface of said drum device (D) when they are displaced inwards. The first and second breaker material folding-wrapping devices (B) and (C) are disposed symmetrically on the opposite sides of said drum device (D) and concentrically with said drum device (D). Each of the devices (B) and (C) is movable in an axial direction and includes a plurality of segments which can displace radially inwards and outwards and which are movable in the axial direction.

After a carcass band is elastically deformed temporarily into a standing wave shape, a bead core is located at a predetermined position on the outside of the carcass band. The elastic deformation of the carcass band is eliminated, and the carcass band is pressed against the inner peripheral surface of the bead core to form a first assembly. The first assembly is held by a first transfer from the outside, and an inner liner band of cylindrical shape with an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the first assembly, is located at a predetermined position in the first assembly.
