摘要: A mold for molding a tire tread comprises a plurality of mold segments. Each of the plurality of mold segments includes an integer number of tread pitch repetitions. The plurality of mold segments are structured to be coupled to each other end-to-end so as to form the mold such that the mold includes an integer number of tread pitches. The mold also includes at least one mold end segment positioned on at least one end of the mold and has a mold end segment length shorter than a length of each of the plurality of mold segments.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a rubber composition for vulcanizing bladder excellent in thermal conductivity and a vulcanizing bladder formed of the rubber composition, with which vulcanization efficiency can be improved. The rubber composition for vulcanizing bladder comprises, based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component comprising 80% by mass or more of a butyl rubber, 20 to 200 parts by mass of at least one type of metal filler selected from the group consisting of metal powder, metal oxide powder, metal hydroxide powder and metal nitride powder, said metal filler having a Mohs hardness of 8 or lower and a mean particle size of 0.3 to 50 μm, and 20 to 80 parts by mass of a carbon black. The vulcanizing bladder is formed of the rubber composition for vulcanizing bladder.

The radially inner and axially inner surface and/or radially inner axially outer surface have a shape that includes air evacuation channels.

摘要: The invention provides a method of mounting a device to a tire so that the device is mounted on a flat surface. The invention includes a shaped rubber patch having a flat mounting surface and a doubly curved lower surface. The shaped rubber patch is mounted inside the tire in such a way that the curved lower surface mates to the tire sidewall so that the device can be mounted on a flat surface. Because the curved lower surface of the patch mates with the tire curvature, a better attachment interface is provided.
