摘要: A cold-accumulation type refrigerator having variable length cycle for cooling by means of the cold-accumulation material. The cycle length is a function of refrigerator load. The refrigerator includes a refrigerating cycle to cool a refrigerator compartment and the cold-accumulation material, a load detecting device, such as a room temperature detecting device, to measure an amount of a load to be cooled, clock counting device to generate a time data, and a control device, such as microcomputer. The control device controls the operation of the refrigerator which operates in a first mode (ordinary cooling operation), a second mode wherein the refrigerator compartments are cooled by means of the cold accumulation material and a third mode wherein the cold accumulation material is cooled. The control device controls the time period for second and third mode operation as a function of load to be cooled.

摘要: A thermal printer having a thermal head with a heat element that heats a recording medium and forms a print dot by energizing the heat element generates a first energizing pulse that energizes continuously during a first period for forming a print dot when the recording medium conveyance speed is greater than a specific threshold value; and generates a second energizing pulse that alternates during the first period between energizing for a second period that is shorter than the first period and de-energizing for a third period when the recording medium conveyance speed is less than or equal to the threshold value.

摘要: A media processing device enables quick, easy, problem-free removal of processed media while maintaining high media quality. The media processing device, such as a disc publisher 1, has a tray 70 with a stacker unit 71 for storing media M, and a tray holding unit that supports the tray 70 movably between a removal position and a storage position. Overlapping channels and lands are formed on the top of the tray 70 and on the ceiling part of the tray holding unit facing the top of the tray 70.
