A display system of an excavating machine that includes a work machine having a bucket, and a main body to which the work machine is attached, the display system includes: a storage unit configured to store at least position information of a design surface; a display unit configured to display the position information of the design surface on a screen; and a processing unit configured to display an outer edge of a second plane of the design surface, the second plane including a first plane existing in the design surface, the second plane existing in a part of a periphery of the first plane, on the screen of the display unit, in a different form from inside and outside of the outer edge.

A display system of an excavating machine including a work machine having a bucket with an excavation edge and an arm to which the bucket is swingably attached, and a body to which the work machine is attached, the system including: a vehicle condition detector detecting first information related to a current position of the excavating machine and second information related to a posture of the body; a storage storing position information of a target surface indicating a target shape of an object and appearance information of the bucket; and a processor obtaining virtual images indicating positions of planes passing through both ends of the excavation edge from among planes parallel to a plane on which the arm moves based on the first and second information, and the appearance information, and displaying the virtual images on a screen with the bucket as viewed from above the excavating machine.

The display system of the excavating machine has a work machine condition detection unit which detects information related to a current position of an excavating machine and a processing unit. This processing unit calculates an icon display of the bucket and the positions of the excavation edge portions viewed from a top of the excavating machine based on the information related to the current position of the excavating machine, the information related to the posture of the main body, the information about the positions of the excavation edge portions and the outer shape information about the bucket, and displays on a screen of a display device the target surface, the icon display position of the bucket, and an image which indicates the positions of the excavation edge portions.

A display system for an excavating machine allowing an upper swing body including a work implement to swing about a predetermined swing central axis. The display system includes a processing unit that obtains target swing information indicating an amount of swing of the upper swing body, based on information including a direction of a tooth edge of the bucket, information including a direction orthogonal to a target plane indicating a target shape of a work object, and information including a direction of the swing central axis, and displays an image corresponding to the obtained target swing information, the amount of swing being required for the tooth edge of the bucket to face the target plane, and the direction of the tooth edge of the bucket being determined based on information about a current position and posture of the excavating machine.

The construction management device includes a work machine position information generation part determining work machine position information as information on a position of the work machine; a traveling body position information generation part determining traveling body position information as information on a position of the traveling body; and a construction position information generation part using either the work machine position information or the traveling body position information to generate construction position information as information on a position of construction by the excavation machinery, and while the excavation machinery travels, using not the work machine position information, but the traveling body position information to generate the construction position information.
