A display system of an excavating machine including a work machine having a bucket with an excavation edge and an arm to which the bucket is swingably attached, and a body to which the work machine is attached, the system including: a vehicle condition detector detecting first information related to a current position of the excavating machine and second information related to a posture of the body; a storage storing position information of a target surface indicating a target shape of an object and appearance information of the bucket; and a processor obtaining virtual images indicating positions of planes passing through both ends of the excavation edge from among planes parallel to a plane on which the arm moves based on the first and second information, and the appearance information, and displaying the virtual images on a screen with the bucket as viewed from above the excavating machine.

A display system of excavating machine includes a vehicle state detection unit configured to detect information related to a current position and a posture of the excavator as an excavating machine; a storage unit configured to store at least position information of a target surface indicating a target shape of an object to be worked; a bucket tilt detection unit configured to detect a tilt angle of the bucket; and a processing unit configured to obtain an angle between the edge and the target surface from a position of the edge of the bucket obtained based on the tilt angle of the bucket and the information related to a current position and a posture of the excavator and to display posture information indicating information related to a posture of the bucket on a screen of a display unit based on the obtained edge tilt angle.
Abstract:
In a display system in an excavator, a position of an upper boundary line and a position of a lower boundary line are calculated. The upper boundary line indicates a height of a top of a cross section of a display object surface. The lower boundary line indicates a height of a bottom of the cross section of the display object surface. A predetermined reference point of a display range is set based on a positional relationship in an up-and-down direction between the current position of the excavator and the upper boundary line or between the current position of the excavator and the lower boundary line. A guidance picture showing a cross section of the display object surface included in the predetermined display range as seen from a side of the excavator, and the current position of the excavator, is displayed.

The display system includes: stroke sensors that detect position information of working equipment relative to a body; a real image display unit; a combiner; and a display controller. Based on the position information of the working equipment, the display controller controls a displayed position of work-support information along a surface of the combiner and a depthwise displayed position of the work-support information defined in a forward direction relative to a cab. A projection image of the work-support information visible to an operator is thus displayed around the working equipment.

The display system includes: stroke sensors that detect position information of working equipment relative to a body; a real image display unit; a combiner; and a display controller. Based on the position information of the working equipment, the display controller controls a displayed position of work-support information along a surface of the combiner and a depthwise displayed position of the work-support information defined in a forward direction relative to a cab. A projection image of the work-support information visible to an operator is thus displayed around the working equipment.
