An intermediate transfer member includes: a base layer; an elastic layer that is disposed on the base layer; and a surface layer that is disposed on the elastic layer, wherein, when a breaking elongation of the surface layer is Ah, and a breaking elongation of the elastic layer is Ad, Ad/Ah=4 to 100 is satisfied, and when a linear expansion coefficient of the surface layer is Bh, and a linear expansion coefficient of the elastic layer is Bd, Bd/Bh=0.8 to 2 is satisfied.

There is provided a silicone rubber composition forming a rubber member on a surface of a fixing member which is used in an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The silicone rubber composition includes 1.5 or less of a low molecular weight component by a cumulative amount measured from 10 minutes to 32 minutes after starting retention in a head space gas chromatography measurement under a predetermined condition. The silicone rubber composition further includes 2.2 or more of a high molecular weight component by a cumulative amount from 32 minutes to 37 minutes after starting retention in a head space gas chromatography measurement under the predetermined condition.

A plurality of image parts, each having a different gloss level, are formed on the same recording material by electrophotographic technology. The plurality of gloss levels are visually recognized due to the plurality of image parts. The image forming method includes: developing electrostatic latent images on respective image carriers using a high softening point clear toner and a low softening point clear toner, to form a toner image by the high softening point clear toner and a toner image by the low softening point clear toner; transferring the toner images onto a recording material; and heat-fixing the toner image for low gloss and the toner image for high gloss transferred and formed onto the recording material, wherein a softening point Tm(a) of the high softening point clear toner and a softening point Tm(b) of the low softening point clear toner satisfy Tm(a)−Tm(b)>6° C.
