Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and an apparatus for asynchronously allocating resources in a mobile edge computing (MEC) system. A method for asynchronously allocating resources in a base station of an MEC system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: determining the optimal value of a predetermined variable for energy consumption minimization of the MEC system for a predetermined time period by using basic information about each of the base station, a server, and one or more terminals; transmitting configuration information about the optimal value to each of the server and the one or more terminals; and allocating a resource to each of the base station, the server, and the one or more terminals on the basis of the optimal value. Herein, the predetermined variable can include one or more from among a transmission power variable (P), a resource allocation ratio variable (W), a time duration length variable (T), and an offload-residual data partition variable (O).
