摘要:
A method, implemented at least in part by a computing device, for provisioning multilingual content, may include receiving by the computing device, a selection of a language-agnostic artefact, the language-agnostic artefact including programming code for displaying a user interface with a text field. An input string designating at least a portion of a text label associated with the text field may be received. A multilingual artefact may be retrieved based on the received input string, from a plurality of available multilingual artefacts. The retrieved multilingual artefact may include a plurality of translations of the input string into a plurality of human languages. An association record identifying an association between the language-agnostic artefact and the multilingual artefact may be created.

A system and method are described for managing a plurality of sever nodes. In one embodiment, the sever nodes are organized into groups referred to as “instances.” Each instance includes a group of redundant sever nodes and a dispatcher for distributing service requests to each of the sever nodes. In addition, a central message passing architecture is defined which allows the various instances to communicate with one another. In one embodiment, a hierarchical configuration data object is stored within a database and is centrally accessible by all of the servers from all of the instances. The hierarchical configuration data object organizes configuration data and binary data in a logical hierarchy which simplifies sever node management in an enterprise network.
摘要:
A system and method for updating an update module. A pair-update module is executed to update software on a processing system. The pair-update module includes an installation updater and a bootstrap updater. The installation updater applies installation updates to installation files of the processing system, while the bootstrap updater applies bootstrap updates to the installation updater.
摘要:
A system and method are provided for template-based configuration architecture. Configuration information from a first level is inherited. Configuration templates are customized via the inherited configuration information based on usage at a second level. The customized configuration templates are applied to default instances at a third level.

A system and method for file system synchronization is described. A method described includes saving content of a cluster file system (CFS) archive to a CFS database, detecting a change made in the CFS database with respect to the CFS archive, comparing an index of the CFS database with an index of the file system, and updating the file system to reflect the change in the CFS database.
摘要:
A specification and method for the configuration of an instance are described. Inheritable configurations/profiles from an abstract configuration model are used to define the instance dynamically. The inheritable configurations/profiles may be written in XML.
摘要:
A deployable template structure is described. In an embodiment, the deployable template structure includes sections for virtual machines deployable, filters, and component configuration settings. A deployable template may provide multiple instance definitions for a single system.

Embodiments include a system for managing files or software components by use of a descriptor file. The descriptor file may track references to the file or software component by other files and software components. A software component that has no references to it may be removed from a system.

Embodiments include a timeout event management system that registers timeout events and checks for and corrects inaccuracies in timing caused by hibernation or system time changes. The timeout event management system may trigger an event after an intended delay time or at an intended expiration time. A handler program may be called in response to the triggered timeout. In an additional embodiment, the timeout system may track timeout events in a priority queue data structure.
