摘要： A detection signal processing circuit for photoelectric smoke detectors reliably stable with respect to external noise is provided. Light receiving section of the detector for receiving light emitted intermittently from light emitting section and scattered by smoke particles comprises a light receiving element, a condenser charged depending on intermittent scattered light intensity received by the element and of a value over a predetermined level, and an output circuit providing an output to a following operation means only when charge amount of the condenser has reached a predetermined value. Optimumly, the predetermined value of the condenser charge is achieved when at least two or more of the intermittent scattered light are received continuously.

摘要： An electronic chime wherein at least two different audible frequency signals forming chime sound are generated by a frequency divider oscillated by an oscillating circuit capable of adjusting its output standard frequency clock pulse. These audible frequency signals are respectively amplitude modulated so as to be attenuated stepwise, and the chime sound is generated by such modulated signals and caused to disappear at attenuated state.

摘要： A ceiling mounted fire detector comprises a detector 10 and a mount base 20 installed into a ceiling surface 1. The detector 10 includes a sensor unit 12 which, upon sensing a fire condition, produces an electrical signal to be transmitted to a control center through a signal line routed in the ceiling. The mount base 20 is provided in the form of a bottom-opened and top-closed barrel to receive therein the detector 10. Provided on the detector 10 is a pair of conductor prongs 15 by which the detector 10 is electrically and physically connected to the mount base 20. The mount base 20 includes a pair of sockets 23 for connection with the conductor prongs 15 and includes corresponding number of terminals 25 for wiring connection with the signal line for completing the electrical path from the detector 10 to the signal line. The terminals 25 are disposed together with the sockets 23 on the exterior of the top wall 21 of the mount base 20 for easy wiring connection with the signal line without being interfered with the body of the mount base 20. Accordingly, the mount base 20 can have a reduced size without sacrificing the convenience of the wiring connection, contributing to successfully reducing the total size of the detector and mount base assembly.

摘要： A light scattering type smoke detector having an improved labyrinth high in shielding effects for interior detecting means from the exterior light and other obstacles such as dusts, insects or the like than smoke particles is provided. The labyrinth comprises a plurality of outer peripheral shielding elements spaced from one another defining peripheral apertures therebetween, a plurality of inner shielding elements spaced from the outer elements and from one another defining therebetween inner apertures, said inner shielding elements opposing respectively to each peripheral aperture and said inner apertures to each outer shielding element, and a filtering means made of thin plate material perforated to have many small holes and disposed behind the respective outer elements to close the inner apertures while allowing substantially the smoke particles only to pass therethrough. In an aspect, the inner shielding elements and filtering means comprise an integral strip-shaped plate substantially of ring shape perforated at spaced sections providing therebetween non-perforated shielding sections, and the respective outer shielding elements have an inward extended wall to guide incoming smoke toward the filtering perforated sections.
