Abstract:
With respect to one order information piece in security transaction, processing of reception, transaction condition confirmation, transaction settlement and result transmission is executed serially. A transaction system is configured so as to divide a transaction including a plurality of transaction requests into predetermined units and execute resultant processing units in parallel. When such division is conducted, the sequential property is ensured. For example, the progress situation of processing is stored in a database every processing and every step. Issues, terminals, markets and servers are included as predetermined units.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for immunostimulation useful for promoting IgA and secretory component productions in mucosal tissues, comprising, alone or in combination, a cell of bifidobacterium belonging to Bifidobacterium bifidum or a processed product thereof, wherein the bifidobacterium has an activity to stimulate secretory component production and a high activity to stimulate IgA production, for example, it is a Bifidobacterium bifidum OLB 6377 strain or Bifidobacterium bifidum OLB 6378 strain.
Abstract:
A surface grinding machine for a sintered rare earth magnetic alloy wafer comprises a pair of disk-shaped grindstones that face each other across a prescribed gap to be rotatable in opposite directions about their center axes. The grinding surfaces of the pair of grindstones and the center axe inclination of one grinding stone are configured to form a planar grinding region A wherein a portion of both of the grinding surfaces of the pair of grindstones lie parallel with a constant intervening gap therebetween. Other portions of the grinding surfaces of the grindstones constitute a wedge-like opening region B that becomes more narrow toward the planar grinding surface A. A feeder to feed the wafers from the wedge-like opening region B toward the planar grinding region A is provided in order to grind both surfaces of the wafers at the planar grinding.
Abstract:
A method of producing a sintered rare earth magnetic alloy wafer comprises a step of using a cutter to slice a wafer of a thickness of not greater than 3 mm from a sintered rare earth magnetic alloy having ferromagnetic crystal grains surrounded by a more readily grindable grain boundary phase and a step of surface-grinding at least one cut surface of the obtained wafer with a grindstone to form at a surface layer thereof flat ferromagnetic crystal grain cross-sections lying parallel to the wafer planar surface. The method enables high-yield production of a sintered rare earth magnetic alloy wafer having flat surfaces.

Abstract:
A skin-care pouch includes a sealed enclosure storing therein a number of carbide aggregations including carbides in the form of small pieces, granules or particles, water-absorbent shape-keeping agent which is gelled by absorbing water upon contact therewith and so on. The sealed enclosure in the form of a bag is formed of a fabric capable of permeating water and the carbides therethrough to be placed into contact with a desired portion of skin where care or treatment thereof is desired.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus for receiving digital image data including bilevel images such as character and line draw images and pseudo halftone images such as dither image and error diffusion image and for estimating a halftone image. The apparatus comprises a dither image detector for detecting the presence/absence of a cycle of the image from a peak interval of auto-correlation values of the respective lines of the image data and detecting the pattern when the cycle is present, a density variation detector for detecting a variation in density of the image of each cycle, a pseudo halftone image detector for detecting a degree of variance of pixels from a dot pattern of a pixel region having a predetermined range, a selector for selecting an aperture having a size equal to the detected cycle when the input image has a cycle and the variation in density is small, an aperture having a size smaller than the detected cycle when the variation in density is large, and an aperture having a size corresponding to the degree of variance of pixels when the cycle is not detected. The apparatus further comprises a halftone image estimating circuit for averaging the digital image data by the aperture having the selected size.
Abstract:
A picture printing apparatus is disclosed which includes a picture type judgement means, and a best mode printing system is determined according to the judging result. A mixed mode picture including a binary picture element and a gradational picture element is printed to utilize selectively the binary method, multivalence concentration pattern method and the dither method.
Abstract:
A biochemical analysis apparatus includes a sample accommodating region, an accommodating region for test films containing a reagent which reacts with a liquid sample to give rise to a change in optical density, and a conveyor for sequentially pulling out each test film from the test film accommodating region. An applicator takes up the liquid sample fromt he sample accommodating region and applies it to the test film at the position to which the test film has been pulled out. An incubator incubates the sample-applied film portion for a predetermined time, and a detector measures the optical density of the sample applied applied film portion during or after the passage of the predetermined time. The conveyor, the incubator and the detector are provided to correspond to each of the test films, and a movement device moves the applicator to apply the liquid sample to the test films.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of joining piping materials which comprises, forming at an end portion of one piping material to be joined a socket composed of a tapered portion which is diametrally enlarged gradually toward the pipe end and a maximum diameter portion extending from the tapered portion with the maximum diameter thereof, then fitting an intermediary inserting member along the internal peripheral surface of the tapered portion in the socket to be in intimate contact therewith and thereafter inserting an end portion of the other piping material thereto, further pressurizing the external peripheral of the socket with two clamping members having a lateral cross-sectional shape with the center position as the deepest portion and tapered planes of clamping action on both sides thereof in the radial direction, thereby effecting plastic deformation of the maximum diameter portion in the diameter shrinking direction. Also disclosed is a joining tool, provided with: two clamping members each having a lateral cross-sectional shape with its center position as the deepest portion, and each having tapered planes of clamping action on both sides thereof at the tip end side and an actuating lever at the base end; a connecting plate supporting the both clamping members with the tapered planes of clamping action opposed to each other freely expandably and shrinkably with rotational axes; and a pushing rod to be pressurized into between the actuating levers of the both clamping members.
