Abstract:
An impact adapter for transfer of impacts and rotation from an impact rock drilling machine to a drill string has a first end (5) connectable to a drill string, and a second end provided with ridges (7) and interposed grooves (8) for transferring rotation. The grooves (8) at the end (9) directed away from the first end (5) of the impact adapter (2) are widened in a direction away from the first end (5) of the impact adapter.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hydraulic percussive arrangement comprising a displaceable arrangement (1) in a casing (11), in which casing (11) the following are arranged at the displaceable arrangement (1): a first chamber (5) connected to a return line (7) for hydraulic oil, a bushing (6) on a first side of the first chamber (5) and separated from the first chamber (5) by a first gap (12) along the displaceable arrangement (1), and a second chamber (2) with a higher pressure of hydraulic oil than that of the first chamber (5) and arranged on a second side of the first chamber (5), separated from the first chamber (5) by a second gap (4) along the displaceable arrangement (1). According to the invention, a third chamber (8) is fixed arranged between the second gap (4) and the first chamber (5) and the third chamber (8) is connected to the first chamber (5) not only by a first passage (14) but also by a third gap (9) along the displaceable arrangement (1). The invention relates also to a piston guide in such a hydraulic percussive arrangement and to a drilling rig with such a percussive arrangement.
Abstract:
A microbubble reducer for eliminating and/or removing bubbles of gas from a flow comprising non-Newtonian fluids, wherein the microbubble reducer comprises an inlet at a low point, a curved duct means comprising a gas outlet at a high point, an outlet at a low point, and a lumen that runs through said inlet, said curved duct means, said gas outlet, and said outlet. Additionally, including various methods for removing gas from a flow comprising non-Newtonian fluid(s) using the microbubble reducer, an apparatus comprising the microbubble reducer, and uses of the microbubble reducer pertaining to dialysis or similar treatments, inter alia hemodialysis, plasma exchange, for infusion of blood and other non-Newtonian fluids, and in a heart-lung machine.

Abstract:
A method for the production of tungsten carbide based cemented carbide or cermet tools or components using the powder injection molding method includes mixing of hard constituent powder and a metallic binder powder with an organic binder system, consisting of 30-60 wt-% olefinic polymers and 40-70 wt-% nonpolar waxes, acting as a carrier for the powder. A metallic binder powder that is granulated with a nonpolar wax is used.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for controlling drilling parameters during an initial phase of rock drilling with a drilling machine. In accordance with the invention the percussion pressure and feed pressure of the drilling machine are controlled as continuously increasing functions during the initial phase. The present invention also relates to such a system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for making cemented carbide or cermet parts, comprises mixing a binder system with cemented carbide powder or cermet powder to form a feedstock, and injection molding or extruding the feedstock to form the cemented carbide or cermet parts, wherein the binder system comprises 30-60 wt % olefinic polymers, 40-70 wt % waxes, and 2.5-10 wt % petroleum jelly CAS 8009-03-8, the feedstock has a solids loading of φ=0.54-0.56.
