An elliptical excision clamp utilizes a pair of half-elliptical shaped clamp jaws curved at an appropriate ratio for the target surgical area, a number of suture hole and slot pairs on the clamp jaws used to facilitate suturing, a crossed members array with finger loops, and a pivot point pin used to connect said crossed members. This device helps minimize bleeding and operation time, and maximizes surgical efficiency and wound management.

摘要： A stapler apparatus and a method to perform a surgical operation (circumcision preferred) using the same are provided. The stapler apparatus includes: a staple nail with two legs, a hammer for striking the staple nail, a staple plate for bending the two legs, a knife for cutting a portion of the patient, a member and a pry device. The member has a first end and a second end, with the member being connected with the knife at the first end. The pry device is disposed between the first end and the second end. When a force is applied to the second end of the member, the knife moves to separate the portion into a first part and a second part, and simultaneously, the force is also applied to the hammer to strike the staple nail to approximate a cut on the second part to reduce bleeding.

A punch biopsy apparatus has: a hollow cylinder body; a coring blade at the base of the hollow cylinder body; at least one scooping blade pivotally secured by an axle and a pair of pivot seats within the cylinder body, where each scooping blade is semicircular, a longitudinally-moveable plunger secured within the hollow cylinder, where the plunger has at least one plunger leg for contacting each scooping blade, and each plunger leg transfers longitudinal plunger movement to its respective scooping blade, thereby causing rotational scooping-blade movement. This device helps minimize bleeding and minimize damage to the biopsy sample being retrieved.

摘要： A method and circuit (30) for providing drive signals that have a half-tone and fast blanking capability to a video display (20) has a video preamplifier (31) integrated on a semiconductor substrate (35) for receiving an input video signal (14) and for producing an output drive signal (17) to the video display (20). The preamplifier (31) may have a plurality of channels (31', 31") corresponding to each color video signal to be processed. A halftone control circuit (21), also integrated on the semiconductor substrate (35) receives halftone control signals (60) and connected to reduce the drive signal produced by the video preamplifier (31). A fast blanking circuit (22) for receiving fast blanking control signals (80) is also integrated on the semiconductor substrate (35) and is connected to substantially turn off the drive signal produced by the video preamplifier (31). The preamplifier (31) is constructed with bipolar transistors and the halftone and fast blanking control circuits are constructed with MOS transistors, for example by a LinBiCMOS semiconductor manufacturing process. The preamplifier (31) may include a plurality of amplification stages, (40, 43-45, 48, 50) wherein the halftone control circuit (21) and the fast blanking control circuits (22) control a drive level prior to a last amplification stage (50) to enable low level control of the halftone and fast blanking operations.

摘要： An amplifier (10) and method for controlling a saturation level of a color video signal has a circuit (33) connected to sum respective individual input color video signals to provide a summed output video signal (34). A first amplifier (14) receives one of the individual color video signals (R) as an input and produces an amplified individual color video signal output (15). A second amplifier (30) receives the summed output video signal (34) and produces a reference output signal (35), connected to be added to the amplified individual color video signal output (15). A user adjustable color saturation control circuit (25) controls a gain of the second amplifier (30), and inversely controls a gain of the first amplifier (14). In one embodiment, a contrast control circuit (20) is connected to control the gain of the first amplifier (14) with the user adjustable color saturation control circuit (25) being connected to the contrast control circuit (20) to control the gain of the first amplifier (14).
