    Abstract: A touch display device and a weighted touch sensing method of a touch controller for providing an accurate touch sensing performance and a high quality of image display are disclosed. The touch display device may include a display panel in which a plurality of subpixels are disposed and a plurality of touch electrodes overlapping one or more of the plurality of subpixels are disposed, and a touch driving circuit configured to supply a touch driving signal including a plurality of pulses to one or more of the plurality of touch electrodes, the touch driving circuit configured to output respective touch driving signals having different numbers of pulses in a first sensing sub-period and a second sensing sub-period in the period of one frame.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a touch display device and a touch driving circuit which support touch sensing of an active pen, and a method of driving the same. Sensing data acquired during a first sensing time period in a pen position sensing section may be transmitted as one data packet, and a plurality of pieces of sensing data acquired during a second sensing time period shorter than the first sensing time period in a pen data sensing section may be transmitted as one data packet, so that it is possible to reduce an unnecessary sensing time period when pen data is sensed, while preventing sensing data transmission sections from overlapping each other. In addition, information about a Most Significant Bit (MSB) of the sensing data to be transmitted when the sensing data is transmitted may be transmitted in the pen data sensing section, so that it is possible to easily restore the sensing data while minimizing a loss of the sensing data.

    Abstract: A touch display device and a touch sensing system are disclosed. When a touch controller transmits or receives data to or from a plurality of touch driving circuits through a common line, the touch driving circuit that does not transmit a sensing completion signal to the touch controller may identify whether a malfunctioned state occurs based on an operation state when a read command is received from the touch controller and may transmit transformed sensing data to the touch controller. Accordingly, the touch controller easily identifies the malfunctioned state of the touch driving circuit and performs control according to a type of the malfunctioned state, thereby preventing or reducing the performance degradation of touch sensing due to a malfunction of the touch driving circuit.
