    Abstract: A piezoelectric sensor includes: a lower substrate; a plurality of sensing transistors that are disposed on the lower substrate; a lower electrode that is disposed to cover the plurality of sensing transistors; a piezoelectric material layer that is disposed on the lower electrode; and an upper electrode that is disposed on the piezoelectric material layer. The piezoelectric material layer has a first thickness in a plurality of first areas in which the plurality of sensing transistors are disposed and has a second thickness which is greater than the first thickness in a second area in which the plurality of sensing transistors are not disposed. Accordingly, it is possible to further accurately and finely detect various types of biometric information.

    Abstract: A display panel and a display device includes a high-permittivity material disposed between electrodes of capacitor disposed in a subpixel. This increases the capacitance per area of the capacitor, such that a high-resolution display device is provided. A high-permittivity material is disposed in the insulating layer, and the surface of the insulating layer is planarized by polishing. The high-permittivity material is prevented from residing in any area, except for the area in which the capacitor is disposed. An unnecessary increase in load in the subpixel is prevented, and the capacitance of the capacitor is increased.

    Abstract: Provided are a display panel and a display device. After deposition of a thin-film transistor layer and a display layer in which emitting devices are disposed, a sensing layer including a piezoelectric material is disposed under the thin-film transistor layer to facilitate implementation of a display panel having built-in piezoelectric devices. Further, as thin-film transistors for ultrasonic sensing and thin-film transistors for display driving are disposed in different layers, a display panel capable of ultrasonic sensing in an active area may be provided without affecting a display resolution or implementation of display pixels.

    Abstract: A display device includes a substrate in which a plurality of sub pixels including an emission area and a circuit area is defined. The display device further includes a storage capacitor disposed in the circuit area and including a first capacitor electrode and a second capacitor electrode on the first capacitor electrode. The display device further includes a driving transistor disposed in the circuit area. The display device further includes a light emitting diode disposed in each of the plurality of sub pixels. The plurality of sub pixels includes a red sub pixel, a green sub pixel, a blue sub pixel, and a white sub pixel. And a distance between the first capacitor electrode and the second capacitor electrode in the white sub pixel is smaller than a distance between the first capacitor electrode and the second capacitor electrode in the red sub pixel, the green sub pixel, and the blue sub pixel.

    Abstract: A display panel has a nanoscaled moth-eye pattern that is patterned and disposed on at least one layer disposed on a path along which light emitted from light-emitting diodes emerges, such that transmittance of light emerging outward from the display panel can be increased while reducing reflectance of external light. Further, an anti-reflector is disposed on an area other than a light-emitting area, and the moth-eye pattern is disposed on open areas of the anti-reflector. Thereby, it is possible to suppress reflected light and prevent reflection of external light on an area on which the anti-reflector cannot be disposed.

    Abstract: An ultrasonic sensor and a display device is disclosed where a piezoelectric material disposed in each pixel area of the ultrasonic sensor is formed to have various thicknesses, or an electrode driving the piezoelectric material disposed in each pixel area has various areas, thereby providing the ultrasonic sensor that generates ultrasonic waves in various frequency bands. Accordingly, it can expand the frequency band of the ultrasonic waves generated by the ultrasonic sensor to improve its sensing performance, and obtain information of various frequency bands to provide the ultrasonic sensor capable of both the fingerprint sensing and the proximity sensing.
