摘要： A display device includes a display unit, an external device interface unit configured to receive an image signal from a set-top box connected to the display device, and a control unit configured to, if a broadcast channel is changed, display a broadcast image of the changed broadcast channel based on the image signal received from the set-top box, to recognize the channel number of the broadcast image by using the displayed broadcast image, and to display broadcasting information related to the recognized channel number on the display unit.

摘要： A display apparatus including a housing; a display; a roller accommodated in the housing to rotate and roll or unroll the display; and a processor configured to in response to receiving a command to display content, control the roller to rotate and unroll the display from the housing so the display is drawn out and extended from the housing, and control the display to display an entire image of the content while simultaneously expanding a size of the entire image of the content as the display is being extended from the housing so a partial portion of the content is not blocked from being viewed as the display is drawn out and extended from the housing.

摘要： A display apparatus and a method for operating the same are disclosed. The method for operating a display apparatus includes acquiring biometric information about a user through a camera or a sensor unit, comparing the acquired biometric information with pre-stored authentication information, and switching the display apparatus to a first mode, if the acquired biometric information does not match with the pre-stored authentication information, the first mode restricting access to content predetermined from total content.
