Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of controlling an air conditioner including a step of sensing the capacitance of condensed water through any one of a plurality of electrode pads to sense the level of the condensed water during cooling, and a step of operating a drainage pump based on the level of the condensed water sensed through any one of the electrode pads to drain the condensed water stored in the condensed water storage part. A water level detecting device of the air conditioner more accurately senses the level of condensed water based on the capacitance of the condensed water, thereby effectively controlling the drainage pump.
Abstract:
A shock absorber and a dishwasher including the same are disclosed. The dishwasher includes a tub having a dish introduction port formed in a front surface thereof, a door for opening and closing the dish introduction port and a rack having moving casters so as to be drawn out of and introduced into the tub, dishes being placed on the rack, and the shock absorber is disposed between the tub of the dishwasher and the rack and includes a body, a receiving groove formed in one side surface of the body so as to receive a portion of the rack, and a pressing portion provided on a remaining surface of the body so as to press and support a portion of the tub to thus press the body downwards.
Abstract:
An conditioner including a compressor that compresses refrigerant, an outdoor unit fan that blows out the air heat-exchanged by an outdoor heat exchanger, a noise sensor that measures noise, a data part that saves noise data measured by the noise sensor, a control part that performs a low noise operation by distinguishing between ambient noise and noise made by the air conditioner based on noise measurements from the noise sensor, wherein the control part sets a target noise level according to the ambient noise, changes the operational settings of the compressor and outdoor unit fan, and controls the operation to ensure that the noise from the air conditioner does not exceed an environmental noise regulatory value.
Abstract:
A packing box (20) for electric home appliances is disclosed. The packing box (20) includes a box body (21) configured to surround a perimeter of one side surface of an electric home appliance (10) and a portion of other surfaces adjoining the one side surface, wherein a region of the box body (21) surrounding at least one of upper and lower portions of the electric home appliance (10) is provided with an openable folding structure (23). Accordingly, in the packing process using a packing box (20), packing may be completed through only two operations of fitting the packing box (20) onto both side surfaces of an electric home appliance. Therefore, the packing process may be simplified, and production time and labor may be reduced.
Abstract:
A method of controlling an air conditioner includes a step of sensing the capacitance of condensed water through a plurality of electrode pads to sense the level of condensed water stored in a condensed water storage part during cooling, a step of comparing the sensed level of the condensed water with a drainage level stored in a memory, and a step of, upon determining that the sensed level of the condensed water is within an error range of the drainage level, operating a drainage pump. A water level detecting device of the air conditioner more accurately senses the level of condensed water based on the capacitance of the condensed water, thereby effectively controlling the drainage pump.
