    Abstract: An air conditioner is provided that may include a main body having an air inlet and an air outlet; a filter received in the main body to filter air; a heat exchanger configured to allow heat exchange between a refrigerant and air suctioned into the main body; and a lamp module configured to radiate ultraviolet (UV) rays and infrared (IR) rays to the heat exchanger. The lamp module may include a porous main body, a plurality of UV lamps, and a plurality of IR lamps. The plurality of UV lamps and the plurality of IR lamps may be arranged in parallel on one surface of the porous main body at predetermined intervals.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for effectively measuring cholesterol using a small amount of blood. The apparatus for measuring cholesterol includes a cartridge where an upper case having a sample transferring membrane is movably coupled to a lower case having a sample measuring membrane; a cartridge accommodation unit configured to accommodate the cartridge therein; a memory configured to store therein setting information for sample measurement; and a controller configured to align the membranes of the upper case and the lower case with each other, by horizontally moving the lower case of the cartridge, according to the stored setting information, and configured to contact the membranes of the upper case and the lower case with each other, by vertically moving the upper case for sample transfer on each alignment position.

    Abstract: An air conditioner is provided that may include a main body having an air inlet and an air outlet defined therein; a filter received in the main body to filter air suctioned into the main body; a heat exchanger configured to perform a heat exchange between a refrigerant and the air suctioned into the main body; and an ultraviolet (UV) sterilization module configured to sterilize the air suctioned into the main body. The UV sterilization module may include a porous main body in a mesh form, and a plurality of UV lamps. The porous main body may include a bent portion to allow the porous main body to conform to a shape of the heat exchanger. The main body may include a chassis, and a front frame at a front of the chassis. An inner space may be defined between the chassis and the front frame. The porous main body may be coupled to at least one of the chassis or the front frame, and the plurality of UV lamps may be arranged to be spaced from each other between the air inlet and the heat exchanger.
