    Abstract: The present disclosure may allow a cleaning robot to avoid a sensed object, the robot including one or more processors configured to project, via a projecting unit, an electromagnetic wave toward a movement path in which the cleaning robot is moving by operation of a driving unit; sense, via one or more sensors, an object positioned on the movement path based on electromagnetic waves reflected from the object; determine whether the sensed object is a type of restricted object by inputting information of the reflected electromagnetic waves to a machine learning model stored in a memory; measure an area corresponding to the sensed object; calculate an avoidance path to avoid the measured area and changing the movement path based on the calculated avoidance path; and operate the driving unit to avoid the sensed object based on the changed movement path.

    Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a brake control system for use in a vehicle and a control method thereof. A brake control system may be configured to include a brake pad for braking the vehicle by pressing a brake disc provided in the vehicle, a measuring apparatus for measuring the vehicle speed, the wear level of the brake pad, the traveling distance of the vehicle, the braking distance of the vehicle, and the braking pressure applied by the brake pad to the brake disc at braking, and a controller connected with the measuring apparatus and for controlling an operation of the brake pad. The controller may compare an initial braking distance, which is a design value of the braking distance before initial traveling of the vehicle, with a current braking distance, which is a braking distance after traveling of the vehicle during a certain duration, and increase the braking pressure of the brake pad in response to the amount of increase in the braking distance, when the amount of increase in the braking distance, which is a difference value between the current braking distance and the initial braking distance, is out of a setting range. The brake control system may transmit and receive a wireless signal in a mobile communication network constructed according to 5G (Generation) communication.

    Abstract: A cleaner capable of controlling motor power and a control method thereof are disclosed. The cleaner may include a head suctioning external dirt, a stick communicating with the head, being adjustable in length, and providing a passage through which dirt that is suctioned moves, a length sensor mounted on the stick and sensing a length change of the stick, a motor providing dirt suction power to the head, a speed measurer measuring a movement speed and a movement direction of the head, and a controller controlling power of the motor. The controller may select minimum power for dirt suction of the motor on the basis of at least one of information about the length change of the stick, the movement speed of the head, and the movement direction of the head, and may control the motor to have the selected minimum power. The cleaner can transmit/receive wireless signals on a mobile communication network established in accordance with 5G (Generation) communication.

The user robot having received the map information may clean the movement space while being moving by a user in the movement space, and the mobile robot may receive the information on an area that has been cleaned or an area that has not been cleaned. Thereafter, the mobile robot cleans the area that has not been cleaned so that no area is left uncleaned.
