    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an impeller and a method of manufacturing the same. The impeller includes: a hub in which a plurality of spiral first slots are formed; a shroud which is positioned opposite the hub, and has a plurality of spiral second slots formed therein; and a plurality of blades which is coupled to the hub and the shroud, and have an upper protrusion formed on one side and a lower protrusion formed on the other side; and wherein the upper protrusion is inserted into and coupled to a second hole formed in the second slot, and the lower protrusion is inserted into and coupled to a first hole formed in the first slot.

    Abstract: A compressor that vibrates a rotary shaft or changes an operating frequency of a motor, in response to a vibration frequency of a discharge passage falling outside of a normal range. The compressor may include one or more impeller configured to draw in and compress refrigerant; a motor configured to rotate the one or more impeller; a rotary shaft, to which the one or more impeller and the motor are coupled; at least two thrust bearings that limit vibration of the rotary shaft; a vibration measuring sensor configured to measure a vibration frequency of a discharge passage; and a controller configured to control the at least two thrust bearings based on the vibration frequency. Upon determining that the vibration frequency falls outside of a normal vibration frequency range, the controller controls the at least two thrust bearings to vibrate the rotary shaft a predetermined number of times.

    Abstract: A fluid cleaning apparatus including: a first volume comprising a first inlet through which a first fluid is introduced and a first outlet through which the first fluid is discharged; a second volume comprising a second inlet through which a second fluid is introduced and a second outlet through which the second fluid is discharged; and a rotating wheel which is provided with a filter for filtering the first fluid, and rotatably positioned within the first volume and the second volume in a direction perpendicular to a flow direction of the first fluid or the second fluid, wherein foreign matter filtered while the first fluid passes through the filter in the first volume is discharged through the second outlet while the second fluid passes through the filter in the second volume, as the rotating wheel rotates.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a compressor and a chiller including the same. The compressor according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes: a rotating shaft extending in a longitudinal direction of the shaft; a blade disposed on an outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft and having a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface; a first bearing module disposed on one side of the rotating shaft, having a third inclined surface spaced apart in parallel from one side of the blade, and disposed to surround the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft; and a second bearing module disposed on the other side of the rotating shaft, having a fourth inclined surface spaced apart in parallel from the other side of the blade, and disposed to surround the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft, wherein the third inclined surface is disposed opposite the first inclined surface, and the fourth inclined surface is disposed opposite the second inclined surface. Accordingly, production costs of the bearings may be reduced, and the bearings may be controlled in a simplified manner.
