    摘要: An orthodontic device is worn in a mouth of a patient and is attached between an upper attachment portion secured to the maxillary teeth and a lower attachment portion secured to the mandibular teeth such that the device is proximal a cheek of the patient. The device is formed from a single flexible resilient spring element having a generally curved body portion where the body portion is defined to lie in a plane relative to a plane defined by the cheek of the patient. The spring element has first and second oppositely disposed end portions where the first end portion is configured to directly attach to the upper attachment portion. The second end portion is configured to directly attach to the lower attachment portion. The spring element produces an applied force between the upper and lower attachment operative to displace the maxillary teeth relative to the mandibular teeth. The first end portion includes a primary bend that is disposed substantially within the plane of the body portion and operative to vary the effective length of the spring element where the variation in the effective length of the spring element varies the applied force directed to the maxillary and mandibular teeth. The second end portion terminates in a loop configured to attach to the lower attachment portion.

    摘要: A method on a wireless user equipment (UE) device facilitates integration of an outgoing cellular call as an enterprise call. The UE device attaches to a wide area cellular network on which the device has a non-enterprise address. Upon blocking incoming calls, the UE device sends a request to a node in a data network to initiate an outgoing cellular call with an expectation of receiving an incoming circuit-switched (CS) call back from the network node within a time window. The incoming CS call contains an enterprise address associated with a user of the wireless UE device as a calling line identity to identify that the incoming CS call is related to the request to initiate the outgoing cellular call. The UE device indicates to the network node that a call leg is established between the enterprise user and the network node.

    摘要: Aspects relate to initiating voice calls to mobile devices from an enterprise network. In one example, a server can initiate a voice channel to a mobile device, and if the mobile device cannot be reached, an access network may redirect the call from the server to a number identified as a voicemail number; however, such number is reconfigured to instead be directed to a number located within the enterprise network. The server can monitor or receive an indication that a call is incoming, and attributable to the mobile device. If such a call is incoming or received, then the server determines that the call has failed. If the mobile device answers the call, the server can determine that the voice channel has been established, without waiting for a confirmation indication, such as a DTMF tone.

    摘要: Mobile user equipment for use in a cellular communications environment performs an improved cell selection on transitions out of a connected mode state. The transitions might be from one connected mode state to another or from a connected mode state to idle mode. The improvement in cell selection lies in assembling the list of candidate cells prior to cell selection. In the prior art, the list of candidate cells would usually be restricted to the serving cell or active cells supporting communication between the equipment and the network prior to transition. In embodiments of the invention, the list might comprise cells which are not the serving cell or which are outside the active set, for example a network-preferred cell or cells neighbouring the serving cell or cells of the active set.
