    Abstract: [Problem to be Solved] To improve operability in detaching a sealing member.
    [Solution] A sealing structure 10 according to the present invention includes a main body 30a, a female thread part 20h fixed to the main body 30a, the female thread part 20h being screwed into a discharge hole 20c of a drain plug fastening part 20 by the main body 30a being rotated in a normal rotation direction, and an elastically deformable arm part 30c, one end of which is joined to the main body 30a. A concave part 20e is formed in the drain plug fastening part 20 and a claw part 30g is formed in the arm part 30c. When the main body 30a is rotated in the normal rotation direction, the arm part 30c is elastically deformed while a part of the arm part 30c slides on a top surface 20d of the drain plug fastening part 20 until the main body 30a is rotated to a predetermined rotational position and, when the main body 30a is rotated to the predetermined rotational position, the claw part 30g fits in the concave part 20e and the elastic deformation of the arm part 30c is released, whereby the rotation of the main body 30a from the predetermined rotational position is prevented. When the main body 30a is rotated in a reverse rotation direction from the predetermined rotational position, the claw part 30g slides on and climbs over a first wall part 20f of the concave part 20e while the arm part 30c is elastically deformed, whereby the prevention of the rotation of the main body 30a from the predetermined rotational position is released. The claw part 30g or the concave part 20e is formed such that, when the main body 30a is rotated in the reverse rotation direction and the claw part 30g is sliding on the first wall part 20f, an angle A formed by a direction of force applied to the arm part 30c from the drain plug fastening part 20 and a straight line connecting a contact part of the claw part 30g and the first wall part 20f and a rotation center of the main body 30a is smaller than 90 degrees when viewed in a rotation center direction of the main body 30a.

    Abstract: A seal structure for an internal combustion engine comprising: a cover side seal member which extends on upper surface sides or lower surface sides of both of an engine main body section and a chain casing and pressed and held against a cover member; a casing side seal member arranged at left or right end section of one end surfaces of the engine main body section onto which the chain casing is attached and pressed and held against the chain casing; a receiving concavity formed to extend on a junction surface of the chain casing to the cover member; and an extremely thick connection block section formed integrally on one end section of the casing side seal member, fitted into and retained by the receiving concavity, and projected more toward the cover member side than a junction surface of the chain casing to the cover member in a free state.

    Abstract: The present disclosure describes a drain plug structure for an oil pan for an internal combustion engine. The drain plug structure closes off a drain hole disposed in a bottom portion of the oil pan. The drain plug structure includes a columnar stopper portion inserted into the drain hole and rotated to prevent withdrawal. A sealing member is fitted to an outer periphery of the columnar stopper portion. An operating portion for a rotation operation is disposed on an outside exposed end portion of the columnar stopper portion. A plurality of cantilevered arcuate arm portions project radially outwards from the outside exposed end portion of the columnar stopper portion and are arranged in series along a circumferential direction. A loosening-prevention meshing portion is disposed on a tip end portion of each arcuate arm portion and an opening edge portion of the drain hole.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a blowby gas treatment device for an internal combustion engine with a supercharger, the blowby gas treatment device comprising: a fresh air introduction passage wherein one end of the fresh air introduction passage is connected to an upstream side of the supercharger and the other end is communicated with a crankcase of the internal combustion engine; a first blowby gas passage wherein one end of the first blowby gas passage is connected to a venturi part provided in an upstream side of the supercharger in the intake passage and the other end is communicated with the crankcase; a first check valve being interposed in the fresh air introduction passage and preventing a flow from the crankcase side to the intake passage side; and a second check valve being interposed in the blowby gas passage and preventing a flow from the intake passage side to the crankcase side.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a structure for attachment of a drain nut to a synthetic resin cover. The cover has a nut engagement portion formed in an outer surface of the cover, a cylindrical engagement portion formed with a plurality of piece parts on an inner surface of the cover, and a stepped portion formed between the nut and cylindrical engagement portions. The drain nut has a nut portion engaged in the nut engagement portion, a female thread portion formed in the nut portion for screw-in of a drain plug, a cylindrical portion formed concentrically with the nut portion and engaged in the cylindrical engagement portion, a large-diameter portion formed between the nut and cylindrical portions and engaged in the stepped portion, with an O-ring held between the large-diameter portion and stepped portion, and a collar portion formed around the cylindrical portion and retained by front ends of the piece parts.
