    Abstract: The present invention relates to a manufacturing process for a watch component (50) in composite material with a ceramic matrix comprising the following steps: depositing in a mould a succession of layers (10, 20, 30, 40) each comprising a ceramic powder (12), at least one layer (10; 10, 30; 10, 20, 30, 40) further including fibres (14) mixed with the ceramic powder (12), the fibres (14) being arranged randomly; performing a FAST/SPS sintering operation; demoulding the sintered watch component comprising the succession of layers (10, 20, 30, 40), and optionally machining the sintered component to the final dimensions of the watch component (50). The fibres (14) are visible on the surface of the watch component (50).

    Abstract: Preform and manufacturing process producing heterogeneous components with a first fraction (11) made from a first metallic material and having a cellular structure with stochastic or regular cells, and a second fraction (12) made from a second metallic material different from the first metallic material, in which the second fraction (12) at least partly infiltrates the cells of the first fraction (11). The second fraction is poured into the preform which also acts as a mould. The finished product after machining may have a unified surface of the second fraction or several zones exposing the second fraction, the first fraction, the cellular structure which is open or infiltrated with the second metallic fraction, or open zones, in a predetermined design.

    Abstract: A case element for a timepiece is described, having a through-hole and bearing a pushbutton including a tube, that is accommodated inside the through-hole and is closed by an actuating surface at its end oriented towards the outside, the actuating surface being intended to be pressed by a user in order to actuate a timepiece mechanism arranged inside the case element, wherein the pushbutton is made in one piece, of a bulk metallic glass, and further includes a connection surface which is arranged against the case element so as to establish a permanent, water-resistant connection with the latter, and wherein the actuating surface is able to move, with respect to the connection surface, in response to a pressure exerted thereon by the user. A corresponding production method is also described.
