Abstract: Described herein is a computing system for linking products and containers to cardholders. The computing system is configured to receive transaction data associated with a transaction carried out by a cardholder, the transaction data including an account identifier associated with the cardholder, a product identifier, and a container identifier associated with a product purchased in the transaction. The computing system also links the product identifier and the container identifier to the account identifier, and stores the linked product identifier, container identifier, and account identifier. The computing system receives, from a user device, the container identifier associated with the container received by a user associated with recycling the container, determines the account identifier linked to the container identifier associated with the product received by the user, and automatically provides a reward to the cardholder via the account identifier.

Abstract: A computing device for securely transacting over a landline is provided. The computing device is configured to receive, through a landline, from a merchant in response to a transaction request by a user, a merchant identification message including a merchant identifier, extract the merchant identifier from the merchant identification message, query a database of merchant data including a plurality of merchants and a plurality of merchant identifiers, identify, in response to the query, the merchant by matching the extracted merchant identifier against the plurality of merchant identifiers in the database, retrieve, in response to successfully identifying the merchant, a token associated with a PAN of the user, generate a token message including the token, transmit the token message to the merchant through the landline, and receive, from a payment processor, a confirmation message indicating a payment using the PAN was made in response to the merchant receiving the token.

Abstract: A transportation controller (TC) computing system for monitoring a user computing device location and triggering location-based events using geo-fencing is provided. Abstract: A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving a transaction request for a payment transaction initiated at a payment terminal device using a transaction card of a user. A predefined category of the user is identified based on the transaction request and a service application is remotely activated in a first operation mode on a user device of the user such that the first operation mode is associated with the identified predefined category. Payment transaction messages associated with the payment transaction are communicated to the activated service application, which translates the payment transaction messages to a predefined message format. In response to the payment transaction messages, first authentication information is received from the activated service application such that the first authentication information is entered by the user in the predefined message format. The payment transaction is processed based on successful authentication of the user.

Abstract: An electronic payment card processing system and method includes at least one host computing device comprising at least one processor in communication with a memory device and a payment card issuer. The at least one host computing device is configured to: accept payment card transaction data; analyze the payment card transaction data to identify an electrical energy-based transaction, wherein the electrical energy-based transaction involves a purchase of a good or service by a cardholder in exchange for an amount of electrical energy payable to a merchant via the payment card; and submit the payment card transaction data for the identified electrical energy-based transaction to the payment card issuer for approval.
