    摘要: Devices, methods, and systems for prosthesis delivery to patient vasculature are provided. A prosthesis delivery device provided herein delivers a prosthesis to the vasculature of a patient and permits an operator to deploy the prosthesis using a single action mechanism to deploy the prosthesis at a standard deployment rate and a dual action mechanism to deploy the prosthesis at an accelerated deployment rate. Deploying the prosthesis at an accelerated deployment rate results in alterations to the deployed prosthesis structure because the prosthesis is deployed with increased axial compression that results in the prosthesis having increased radial force.

    摘要: A delivery system for delivering a prosthesis includes a housing, a sheath extending from within the housing, a first rotatable knob, a first pulley coupled to the first rotatable knob so as to be rotatable therewith, a second rotatable knob, a second pulley coupled to the second rotatable knob so as to be rotatable therewith, and a cable coupled to the first pulley and to the second pulley. The cable is coupled to a proximal portion of the sheath. Rotation of the first rotatable knob causes the first pulley to rotate while the second pulley remains stationary thereby causing the first pulley to wind up a portion of the cable and retract the sheath at a first speed. Rotation of the second rotatable knob causes both the first and second pulleys to rotate, thereby causing both the first and second pulleys to wind up a portion of the cable and retract the sheath at a second speed being faster than the first speed.

    摘要: A stent-graft includes a graft material having a main body, a first leg, a second leg, and a transition region where the first leg and the second leg meet the main body. A main body transition stent is coupled to the main body. A transition stent support including a gusset is coupled to the graft material such that a transition apex of the main body transition stent is interposed between the gusset and the graft material, the transition apex being aligned with the transition region. The transition apex, which is susceptible to failure, is stabilized by the gusset in combination with a supporting ligament. The gusset and supporting ligament prevent flexing of the transition apex and the associated failure thereof.

The handle includes an internal spring assembly for selectively engaging and disengaging the handle with the threaded outer surface of the slide shaft. The internal spring assembly includes at least one spring arm, a head coupled to the spring arm and having a circumferentially rounded threaded inner surface, and a ring slidably disposed over the spring arm. When the ring is in a first longitudinal position, the threaded inner surface of the head is spaced apart from the threaded outer surface of the slide shaft. When the ring is in a second longitudinal position, the threaded inner surface of the head is threadedly engaged with the threaded outer surface of the slide shaft. The handle may include a resilient cover to provide the internal spring assembly with a biased or nominal operational position.

    摘要: A delivery system for a stent-graft is disclosed having a tip capture device and a tip release handle mechanism configured to actuate the tip capture device. The tip release handle mechanism includes a rotatable grip component and a tip release actuation component. The grip component may be rotatable in a first direction to transition a proximal stent of the stent-graft from the delivery state to a partially deployed state and rotatable in an opposite, second direction to transition the proximal stent from the partially deployed state to a fully deployed state. The grip component is operably coupled to the tip release actuation component. The delivery system further includes a shaft component operably coupled to the tip release actuation component and the tip capture device.
