    Abstract: A pipeline inspection device, including a rotatable drum housing a cable, where the cable is extendable into a pipe, a camera positioned on an end of the cable, and a hub housing electrical components of the pipeline inspection device and including a battery housing. A stand includes a mounting assembly having a first portion rotatably supporting the drum and a second portion supporting the hub within an interior of the drum, the second portion including a core, where the hub is removably coupled to the mounting assembly via the core. The hub is removably coupled to the mounting assembly by a first engagement member on the hub and a second engagement member on the core.

    Abstract: A drain cleaning machine includes a brushless direct current (DC) motor configured to rotate a snake about the snake axis. An electronic processor is configured to control power switching elements to drive the brushless DC motor. In a first operating range when a load experienced by the brushless DC motor is less than or equal to a predetermined load, the electronic processor is configured to control the power switching elements to drive the brushless DC motor at an approximately constant speed regardless of the load experienced by the brushless DC motor. In a second operating range when the load experienced by the brushless DC motor is greater than the predetermined load, the electronic processor is configured to control the power switching elements to drive the brushless DC motor at a decreasing speed as the load experienced by the brushless DC motor increases.

The pipeline inspection system may further include a camera disposed on a distal end of the cable and operable to capture an image. The pipeline inspection system may further include a monitor including a display configured to display an image.     Abstract: A power tool system and method are provided that includes a power tool device having a body. a terminal interface coupled to the body. and an electronic controller coupled to the body. The system further includes packaging containing the power tool device, and a packaging interface system. The packaging interface system includes a connection port and a power tool device connector. The connection port is exposed external to the packaging and receives a security command, for example. from a reusable adapter in communication with a point of sale device. The power tool device connector selectively engages with the terminal interface and provides a communication path between the connection port and the terminal interface. The electronic controller of the power tool device receives the security command from the packaging interface system via the power tool device connector, and unlocks the power tool device in response to the security command.
