    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a pump assembly for a hydraulic tool. The pump assembly can include a reciprocating element that is configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position, a cam surface in the reciprocating element that can engage cam followers, a rotating element that can receive rotational input, and a base that can at least partially surrounds the rotating element. Movement of the cam followers along the cam surface can move the reciprocating element from the retracted position to the extended position.

    Abstract: A swage mechanism operable to expand an inner diameter of tubing including a housing defining a longitudinal axis, and a plurality of jaws coupled to the housing and movable radially outward relative to the longitudinal axis for selectively gripping an interior of the tubing. The jaws each include a first cam surface. The swage mechanism further includes a ram having a cylindrical portion and a frusto-conical head portion, and an arbor that is coupled to the housing and having a second cam surface. The frusto-conical head portion of the ram is insertable into the tubing to expand the inner diameter of the tubing. The second cam surface of the arbor is engageable with the first cam surface of each of the jaws to move the jaws toward or away from the longitudinal axis, wherein the second cam surface moves in a direction along the longitudinal axis.

    Abstract: A valve for selectively fluidly communicating a first fluid volume and a second fluid volume includes a valve body, an inlet orifice in fluid communication with the first fluid volume, and an outlet aperture in fluid communication with the second fluid volume. The valve also includes an activation member axially movable relative to the valve body. The valve is operable in a first mode in which the valve opens in response to manual actuation of the activation member. The valve is operable in a second mode in which the valve opens when a pressure difference between the first and second fluid volumes reaches a predetermined value, and the valve closes when the pressure difference between the first and second fluid volumes is less than the predetermined value.
