摘要: The invention has an object of providing ethylene/α-olefin copolymers having high randomness and a small number of double bonds in the copolymers. The ethylene/α-olefin copolymers of the invention are obtained by copolymerizing ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst which includes a bridged metallocene compound (A) represented by the formula [I], and at least one compound (B) selected from organometallic compounds (B-1), organoaluminum oxy compounds (B-2) and compounds (B-3) capable of reacting with the bridged metallocene compound (A) to form an ion pair, and have a specific weight average molecular weight, a specific molecular weight distribution, a specific glass transition point and a specific value B.

摘要: A 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer particle (X) which satisfies the following requirements (X-a), (X-b) and (X-c): (X-a) being composed of a 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer which has a content of a constitutional unit derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene being 30.0 to 99.7% by mol, and a content of a constitutional unit derived from at least one olefin selected from ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms (except for 4-methyl-1-pentene) being 0.3 to 70.0% by mol; (X-b) having, when measured in a cross fractionation chromatograph apparatus (CFC) using an infrared spectrophotometer as a detector part, at least one peak A of an amount of a component eluted present in the range of 100 to 140° C., and at least one peak B of an amount of a component eluted present at lower than 100° C.; and (X-c) having a meso diad fraction (m) measured by 13C-NMR falling within the range of 95.0 to 100%.

This ethylene-based polymer is an ethylene.α-olefin.non-conjugated polyene copolymer that includes units derived from ethylene (A), units derived from an α-olefin (B) containing 4-20 carbon atoms, and units derived from a non-conjugated polyene (C) and satisfies (1)-(4). (1) The molar ratio of (A) to (B) is 40/60-90/10, (2) the contained amount of the units derived from (C) is 0.1-6.0 mol %, (3) ML(1+4)125° C. is 5-100, and (4) the B value is 1.20 or more.

摘要: A process capable of producing an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer having a high molecular weight even under the conditions of a high polymerization temperature is provided. The process for producing an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer includes copolymerizing ethylene and an α-olefin having 3 or more carbon atoms in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst including a crosslinked metallocene compound (A) represented by the following general formula [I] and a cocatalyst component (B). In the general formula [I], Y is selected from a carbon atom, etc., M is a hafnium atom or the like, R1 to R12 are each selected from a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, etc., R13 and R14 are each a substituted aryl group or the like, at least one of R13 and R14 is a substituted aryl group having one or more electron-donating substituents having a Hammett substituent constant σ of not more than −0.2, Q is selected from a halogen atom, etc., and j is an integer of 1 to 4.

摘要: A 4-methyl-1-pentene polymer having: a unit derived from 4-methyl-1-pentene of 90 to 100% by mol; a unit selected from ethylene and an α-olefin, other than 4-methyl-1-pentene, having 3 to 20 carbon atoms of 0 to 10% by mol; and the polymer satisfying the following requirements: (a) a meso diad fraction measured by 13C-NMR within the range of 98 to 100%; (b) a ratio of Z-average molecular weight Mz to weight-average molecular weight Mw measured by GPC within the range of 2.5 to 20; (c) a ratio of weight-average molecular weight Mw to number-average molecular weight Mn measured by GPC within the range of 3.6 to 30; (d) a melt flow rate measured under conditions of 260° C. and a 5 kg load (ASTM D1238) within the range of 0.1 to 500 g/10 min; and (e) an amount of a decane-soluble portion at 23° C. is 5.0% by mass or less.
