摘要： An implement for displacing crop lying on the ground comprising at least one rake member which is driven so as to be rotatable about an upwardly orientated axis and which is provided with a plurality of outwardly extending arms, each of which pivots in upward direction about a pivot axis. Each arm has a pair of outwardly extending tines connected pivotably thereto. The pivotal connections of the arms to the rake wheels and the tines to the arms of each assemble of arms and tines is such that the center of gravity, when the implement is operating, is so disposed that the resultant of the gravitational and centrifugal forces urge the arms and the tines towards the underlying ground. The rake wheels can be folded upwardly about their pivot axes into a transport position wherein the arms are received in a locking device which comprises a resilient member having a recess for receiving each arm. The resilient member may comprise a spring or be composed of an elastic material such as plastic or rubber. The pair of tines are pivoted downwardly while in the transport position.

摘要： A hay-making machine comprising motor-driven working members which rotate about upwardly orientated shafts. The working members are divided into three groups arranged in rows extending transversely to the direction of travel of the machine. A central group is at the rear of the machine and two outboard groups extend outwardly from a location forward of the central rear group in such a manner that the inner working member of each outboard group overlaps (as seen in the direction of travel) the outer working member of the central rear group. The machine includes a frame on which the three groups of working members are mounted. Each group includes four working members. The outer two working members of the outboard groups are foldable to a position over the two inner working members of each of these groups about horizontal axes. Then the outboard groups, as so folded, can be pivoted about vertical axes so that they are positioned along side the frame. The outer working members of the central rear group can be pivoted about horizontal axes extending in the direction of travel of the machine by ninety degrees whereby the machine, in its transport position, is less than about three meters in width compared to its working width of about twelve meters in width.

By a blade pivot pin or shaft that is situated at a radial distance from the first rotation axis. This allows the blade to be freely rotatable through at least a predetermined angle. The blade pin can be displaced radially inwards. The blade holder is connected to the rotor about a latent dedicated second rotation axis; and the first and second rotation axes and the blade pivot pin determine a triangle in a plane of projection at right angles to the first rotation axis.

摘要： An implement for processing mown crop having a plurality of mower members and a crop processing member. The crop processing member has a hood and a carrier, to which are fitted tine-shaped elements by means of connecting members, that cooperate to process by crushing or crimping, the crop cut by the mowing members. The connecting members provide supporting walls on the side of the tine-shaped elements facing away from the side from which they are loaded during normal operation. The supporting wall encloses, at least at the upper portion of the connecting member, an angle with the tine-shaped element that permits the tine-shaped element, made at least partly of a synthetic resin material, to bend thereby absorbing the shock and lessening the potential for damage when solid objects are intermingled with the crop being processed.
