    摘要: An electrostatic imaging device has a photoreceptor drum, an exposure unit to form a latent image on the photoreceptor, a developing unit for forming a toner pattern on the photoreceptor, a transcribing roller for electrifying the photoreceptor drum and transcribing the toner pattern onto a recording sheet, a brush charger for electrifying the photoreceptor drum, and a power supply section for applying a first negative voltage to the transcribing roller and a second negative voltage to the brush charger during a period other than an image forming period. The second voltage is lower than the first voltage in absolute value. Undesirable particles having a positive potential and attached to the brush charger is collected to the photoreceptor drum for cleaning the brush charger.

    摘要: Provided is an oil separator built-in compressor, which prevents a drop in the separating ability of an oil separator while reducing a pressure loss in a communication hole formed between a discharge chamber and an oil separation chamber and which also considers the working feasibility of a casing. The oil separator built-in compressor comprises: a separation chamber arranged adjacent to the discharge chamber and formed entirely thereof into a space in order to separate an oil-containing gas being introduced, centrifugally into gas and oil so that the separated oil flows downward whereas the separated gas is released upward; and the communication hole formed between the discharge chamber and the separation chamber in order to introduce the oil-containing gas from the discharge chamber into the separation chamber. The oil separator built-in compressor is characterized in that the oil separator is formed of the joint structure of two members for constituting the compressor, and in that a portion of the inner wall face of the communication hole is formed at a position farther from the joining face of the joint structure than the inner wall face of the separation chamber.

A time information calculation unit calculates time information indicating the time when the surface of the subject image imaged by the taking optical system driven and controlled by the drive control unit will coincide with the prospective image surface based on the amount of defocus and the image surface moving speed calculated, and a shutter release control unit starts, based on this time information, the operation of a shutter release mechanism by a timing such that exposure is effected when the subject image surface coincides with the prospective image surface.

    摘要: A vapor capture subsystem, which improves capturing efficiency of a carrier solvent, is provided. The vapor capture subsystem provides a ring shaped drying belt which absorbs the carrier solvent in a developing material that is developed on the surface of an organic photoconductor belt by a developer, a regeneration roller which makes the carrier solvent absorbed at the ring shaped drying belt vapor, a condenser which captures the carrier solvent vaporized at the regeneration roller and makes the vaporized carrier solvent liquid by cooling, tubes which lead the carrier solvent vaporized at the regeneration roller to the condenser, an air pump which leads the carrier solvent vaporized at the regeneration roller to the condenser, and a manifold which covers one end side of the ring shaped drying belt and the regeneration roller in order that the vapor generated at the regeneration roller does not leak to the outside. The capturing efficiency at the manifold can be increased by making the drying temperature at the regeneration roller 85° C. or more, and making the sucking air quantity of the air pump 22 to 45 liters/minute.

    摘要: A focus adjustment device that eliminates unnecessary driving of a shooting lens after the shooting lens has already been driven near to an in-focus position. In a focus adjustment device, information related to the defocus amount of the shooting lens is detected based on output signals corresponding to the light intensity distribution of a object image from a pair of photo-electric conversion arrays. The focus adjustment device includes a focus detection circuit to determine the confidence level of the detected information based on predetermined determination criteria and a lens driving device to drive the shooting lens based on the detected information when the information of the focus detection device is accepted as having a sufficient confidence level. However, to prevent erroneous driving of the lens, such as when the object moves out of a focusing field or when the object reverses direction, the probability of rejecting the information of the focus detection on the basis of an insufficient confidence level increases. This occurs when information indicating that the occurrence of a defocus amount exceeding a predetermined range is detected by the focus detection circuit after the shooting lens has previously been determined to have been driven within permissible parameters of an in-focus position.
